Cozy Cottage, Chebeague Island Maine

Experience island living this summer on Chebeague Island, one of Maine’s friendliest islands. Take the CTC ferry from Yarmouth or the Casco Bay Lines from Portland and spend a week hiking, biking, fishing, clamming, beach combing, golfing or (playground) climbing.

Or relax at our fully renovated, 3 bedroom, two bath cottage, with spacious yard where lawn games await.

We especially welcome families with young children, as we are set up for our grandchildren’s visits (pack n play, toddler cots, books, games, Disney movies as well as child proofing gadgets if needed.

The first floor features an open concept living room, kitchen and dining areas as well as a bedroom and a full bath.

The second floor includes two bedrooms, one with a queen bed, and the other bedroom has a full bed as well as a futon. The second floor also includes a 3/4 bath and a stacked laundry unit.

Sorry, WiFi is not included, however there are are a few WiFi hot spots on the island, and a tv to iPhone connector for downloaded content.

This property is being offered by the week, with a seven day minimum.

Maine Island Getaway

This was our second year staying at Gail and Greg’s cottage. We love staying here because it is always clean, and has all the amenities we need when traveling with kids. We hope to stay again next year for our annual trip to Chebeague!

Perfect island getaway

Chebeague is a truly special place, and this lovely home is the perfect way to experience the real Chebeague. Great location, beautiful surroundings, and everything we needed. Gail and Greg were super helpful and responsive. We'll be back again soon!

This was our 3rd year renting this cottage on Chebeague. We love staying here and hope to continue renting this house for years to come. Gail and Greg are so easy to work with and are responsive to any needs that arise. The house is perfect for families with children. Thanks for another great week in Maine!

Delightful and relaxing getaway

We had a really enjoyable time at this cozy cottage on Chebeague Island. Our first time to set foot on the island, we found the cottage perfectly situated and ideal for our needs (family of four with grandma along for the ride). The cottage is nice and quiet, pleasantly decorated, and well located on the island -- close to everything -- and everyone had a wonderful time. The hosts were very accommodating, did a very nice job, and we would definitely rent from them again.

Wonderful Island Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at Gail and Greg's home on Chebeague. The house was spotless! The house was wonderful for our family with small children- toys, movies, board games, books- everything you could need for kids! The house is in a great location on the island, easy to bike around. Gail and Greg were wonderful hosts and easily reached for anything that was needed. We hope to come back next summer.

Incredible stay!

Only 5 stars for every category of this visit. The house is cute, comfortable and really well-designed and has everything you need for a great stay. Communication with the hosts was fantastic, so helpful and accommodating. The yard is beautiful, the back deck is spacious and there are a variety of sizes of bikes that are perfect for the island. Also other fun activities for all ages.

Cozy and pleasant house

It was a great experience visiting Chebeage Island for the first time. The house is cozy and nice, it has everything you need for a family with small children, it is well-maintained, location is great, and the owners are very kind and reachable.

Lovely Cottage

This is a lovely cottage on the prettiest island in Casco Bay. It is well appointed for a very comfortable stay. The hosts are wonderful and helpful in every way possible. There were four of us but the house can comfortably sleep more. I particularly enjoyed the deck with a canopy so that you can sit outdoors, even in the rain. Hope to come back.

While our children and grandchildren spend a great deal of the summer at the house, we have a few weeks available to rent.
