Fantastic stay at Alta Mesa in beautiful Santa Barbara!

A beautiful property where our family could be together and still have space. The plants and flowers are gorgeous, the deck is a great place to dine or just hang out while watching the hummingbirds. The beds were very comfortable, the hosue was clean and well appointed without being cluttered. Within walking distance of shops, restaurants and grocery stores, a beach, and an easy bike ride or drive to the Funk Zone and downtown Santa Barbara. Our host was lovely and shared helpful tips! We had a great vacation and made lots of great memories!

Beautiful Santa Barbara home!

Pictures don't do justice to this beautifully renovated, spacious home in Mesa. It's centrally located in a nice, quiet neighborhood, and everything is within a short 5-10 min driving distance. The house itself has nice wood floors, modern finishes, brand new appliances, and our family felt at ease enjoying the space. It's minimally furnished while still providing everything you would need for your stay. The backyard has terraced landscaping and is well maintained, with a cute detached shed/studio for a quiet spot to work. The owner is very responsive, easy to communicate with, and provided helpful tips when we checked in. We would love to rent this place again next time we visit Santa Barbara!

Beautiful home, ideal location, flawless weekend

Absolutely beautiful home in the ideal location; minutes to the beach, downtown, freeway access... Huge thanks to the owners for the hospitality and for making the entire booking/arrival/departure process simple and easy. I hope we're back again soon and that I'm able to book this home for every trip to Santa Barbara.

Great experience

We had a wonderful time at this property. The house was perfect for us and the location was as well. Good supermarket nearby. Peter was incredibly helpful. His recommendations, for beaches and restaurants, were spot on.

Lush retreat in the hills

The house is beautiful and comfortable, exactly as depicted. But the crowning feature by far is the terraced garden. I spent hours sitting in this tranquil haven watching the hummingbirds.

Perfect for SB!

The house was perfect for our weekend in Santa Barbara! The house was amazing especially the backyard area. The house was very clean and relaxing and in the perfect location close to the Mesa shops and downtown. Definitely recommend!

Second stay at this property

Stayed here last year and the house was every bit as pleasant as it was during our first visit. This home is central to several amenities, beach, restaurants etc. The rooms In the home are very spacious and the home is very clean. Easy to contact the property owner and he has several tips/suggestions for food and fun things to do.

Excellent Stay

Had a great stay visiting family and attending a wedding. House was clean and recently updated - very comfortable beds! Good central location near the Mesa. Would definately stay here again.

40th birthday celebration

Three of us celebrated in Santa Barbara and this was a great property to do so. Super clean, great host, and a quick Uber drive to downtown. Plus you can easily walk to Mesa where we did breakfast nearly every day. Really lovely.

Recently renovated and fully outfitted, this comfortable home is perfectly located to enjoy Santa Barbara. Close to downtown, close to the beaches, and close to the 101 for easy access to wine country - this place has it all!

Wonderful Host & Beautiful Home

Peter is a lovely host with excellent communication. His home is even more beautiful in person, my family and I very much enjoyed all of the modern and cozy details. This home is in a very quiet neighborhood yet approximately 5-7minutes drive to everything. Our son loved exploring the gardens. Peter is a very thoughtful and kind person and we highly recommend his beautiful home! Thanks so much Peter :-)

Great house and location, close to restaurants and the beach and other activities as well.

The owner was great to work with, several suggestions on local activities and where to eat. The house was really clean and very roomy. Would like to rent again on our next visit.
