Wonderful spot close to downtown and the mesa!! The house was lovely and the shower was fantastic - would love to stay here again!

We enjoyed our 2 night stay. The bungalow was clean and cute. The location was ideal. Doug was a great host and made sure we were settled and had what we needed.

Awesome host, beautiful cozy home. Close to Downtown Santa Barbara. Lots of food options and quiet neighborhood. Make sure you bring your own iron as there isn’t one available. All around great stay! The bed was super comfortable.

Overall, I really enjoyed my stay! The house itself was beautiful, comfortable, and exactly what I needed for my time in Santa Barbara.The only thing I would note for future guests is that the home is a duplex with a shared driveway, so you can definitely hear the neighbors at times, particularly from the back bedroom. The neighbors were very sweet, but there was quite a bit of conversation and activity that could be heard from that room.Parking was also a little inconvenient during my stay. Because the driveway is shared, I was asked to move my car, and then had to move it again early the following morning because the neighbors were hosting a birthday party. Obviously, that isn’t a reflection of the home itself, but it’s something worth keeping in mind if you’re driving and hoping to leave your car parked during your stay.Aside from that, I had a really nice experience and enjoyed the home. It’s a lovely place, and I appreciated having such a comfortable space while visiting Santa Barbara!

It’s an adorable little bungalow and a great location, very walkable to downtown area. It is a Duplex which isn’t mentioned until three paragraphs into the description. Somehow I missed this or forgot. You share a wall with neighbors so I’m sure they heard our crying kids at 6am just as we heard them moving chairs at 11pm. Still a great little spot!

Very charming bungalow and a great value too. We were moving our daughter in for college and prices were insane. I would stay here again but I had some issues. The unit was set up very nicely. All the details were there. It was very clean except for two minor things. The living room rug was very stained. And the duvet had a few obvious stains on it. I like light colored duvets as you know they have to clean them occasionally - this one obviously was not cleaned between stays. My real issue was the noise. It is in a vibrant combo residential/commercial area which I realized. But, I didn't expect to be jolted awake at 2 am by a loud barking dog that lasted intermittently for 20 minutes one night. In the morning, I realized that the bedroom window faces the backyard of the other side of the duplex. And it is frosted over. Plenty of light in the room but I like to see outside. Also, we could never use the backyard - either a dog barking, construction or loud music playing. It was just not peaceful. Take that all with a grain of salt as it really was a great place. Doug was very good at communicating - I just didn't get the code to get in until the day of when I reached out.
