Overlooking Harbor Bay in Discovery Bay (called 'the lagoon' by us locals), and only 2 minutes from the marina, you'll have a private dock to bring your boat or jet skis. The two bedroom house features a large kitchen, outdoor dining cabana with BBQ, and a Jacuzzi on the deck.
The space
A large deck overlooking Harbor Bay features a gas BBQ, a Cabana with seating for 6-8, and a hot-tub right at the waters edge. There is a private dock for your boat, water toys or just to take a dip in the water. The Discovery Bay marina is 2 minutes by boat, fast water is 10 minutes away.
The house has a large kitchen with all amenities, including a large breakfast bar. Towards the water side is a comfy living area with couch and TV. A sliding door opens to the deck and outdoor seating area.
The master bedroom also opens to the deck on the water side, and has ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom with a queen bed is located towards the front.
NOTE: A 45ft sailboat may be moored at the outside of the dock. This is not part of the rental, please do not board.
A Washer and Dryer is available upon request - they’re in the garage. The garage is not part of the rental.
Restaurants and shopping at the Discovery Bay Marina are short walk (or you can take one of our paddleboats there for dinner). Other restaurants and shops in walking distance, or a short drive.
There is parking for two cars in the private driveway. If you bring a boat, please park the trailer at the marina when launching.
The California Delta, with 1000's of miles of waterways is right at your back yard. You can take out your boat, wake-board, water ski, jet ski, paddle board, or just float around in the bay. We got a paddle board, a paddle boat and a couple kayaks for you, free of charge. If you bring inflatables, talk to me, I got a compressor.
San Francisco (on weekends) is an hour by car, or 3 hours by boat. Sacramento is an hour by car (or 2.5 hours by boat). Yosemite 2.5 hours, Lake Tahoe 3 hours by car.
You can fish right off our dock (catch and release, please), the Chandlery at the Marina carries bait and fishing supplies. You’ll likely see cranes, hummingbirds, Canadian geese and seagulls flying around, along with seals and sea lions having lunch.
During summer, there are a number of local farmer stands with fresh produce and fruit nearby. There are also local wineries with weekend entertainment during summer.
