This spacious 4 bedroom / 4 bath beach house is located in the community of The Rookery behind the gates of Litchfield by the Sea.

Boasting an open floor plan, updated kitchen with granite countertops, and beautiful antique heart pine floors throughout downstairs, this beach house vacation rental will make you feel as if you never left home!

Comfortable living area and back porch with views across the pond to the new Beach Club on the Atlantic Ocean!

The Upstairs window has views of the ocean! Just steps away to the beach!

Other features include a large master bathroom with a separate jacuzzi® tub and shower, wet bar in the family room, tiled floors, and more.
Views of the beach from the master bedroom.

Access to many miles of walking/biking trails, private beach clubhouse, fishing/crabbing piers, and lighted tennis courts a community pool.

Linen is included in all rentals at no additional cost.

Great location with an easy walk to the beach. There's a nice short cut through the back, but the bushes will grow too big to do that within the next few years. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds and furniture were comfortable. Plenty of room for everyone to sit and relax - in the living room and out on the porch - after a long day at the beach. The house is showing a bit of wear and tear, but it worked for a long weekend at the beach. The view of the pond was nice and there's a long driveway and big carport, allowing plenty of room for multiple cars. There were some chairs and boogie boards in the carport, as well as puzzles and games in the living room, but we didn't use any of them. Check in was easy and the host was very responsive to questions. One thing to note is that when you put the address into the GPS, the directions stop before you reach the house; we found that if you change the last digit of the house number in the GPS, it will take you to the correct location.

Great location.

This is an excellent location. We love the access to the pool, the beach, grocery, coffee. The walking trails are awesome and being in Litchfield is so peaceful. This property needs some work on updating appliances (fridge drawers broken, washer needed and received repairs, microwave vent not hooked up.) Orooerty manager was superbly responsive and helpful. Would stay with this company again.
