Welcome to ⚓️The Merry Yacht!

The Merry Yacht is a canal home in Sea Isle with private boat dock and amazing green light fishing. This home is full of coastal charm, and features multiple outdoor living spaces perfect for entertaining and has everything that your family needs to enjoy a wonderful Gulf Coast Vacation.

Our Amenities include 2 Kayaks/ 2 paddle boards / 1 Lilly Pad and our amazing underwater Green Lights that draw fish right to your Private dock.

Boat slip with a lift that holds up to a 24' boat, Live Bait Well, and cleaning station right next to dock.....so bring your boat and fishing rods cause this place is a fisherman's dream come true and has something for everyone in the family.

This two-story four bedroom home has Bunk room downstairs that sleeps 6 (bunk room is separate from the second floor - perfect for Teens) with 1/2 bath & outdoor shower (under back stairs near dock) and 3 bedrooms on second floor with 2 king sizes beds and 1 queen and two baths.

Upon entering the second floor you will be greeted with a open concept living, dining and, a fully equipped kitchen with limestone countertops, apron sink and new stainless steal appliances.

Every bedroom is fully furnished with fabulous decor, and luxury linens. This home sleeps 12 people comfortably.( we have provided two twin air mattresses as well)

Enjoy the outdoor features which include a private boat dock with live bait well, green underwater fishing lights & Fish Cleaning Station. Outdoor shower is located right near the dock. BBQ grilling area has three different Pits to choose from (Gas/Charcoal/Smoker)


We have a beautiful upper & lower deck perfect for canal views and beautiful sunsets equipped with plenty of seating for entertaining.

Sea Isle is a family friendly neighborhood offers a public beach area, Marina with two restaurants & bar, Convenience store with bait shop, community swimming pool(Pool passes must be obtained), play ground, tennis courts, fishing pier & boat dock.

Parking: You can park approximately 6 cars: 4 inside the gate & 2 outside gate

Pet policy: We are a family of pet lovers and wouldn’t make you think of leaving them at home. Our pet friendly home is fully fenced (except on water side of yard) There is a $50 fee for dogs. We ask that you do not leave you pets unattended or alone on property without a kennel.

Top notch house on the canal in Sea Aisle!
This home exceeded our expectations! First, the home is well kept from inside to outside. It’s as though you are walking into someone’s home, not a rental. The beds were really comfy so we all slept great both nights we were there. I always pack so much, but I really appreciated all of the items provided for guests during stay. We had fun in the canal during the day with the paddle board and enjoyed watching all the fish under the green lights at night. We really appreciate the kindness and communication from the owners! Thank you for your hospitality and for sharing your home with us! You made our daughter’s 25th bday and my Mother’s Day so special!

The canal house was perfect for our family getaway! We enjoyed the kayaks and fishing from the dock. The night fishing with the green lights was so fun! The view from the upper deck was beautiful. A great place to relax. Thanks for sharing your home!

Beautiful home on the canal
Perfect stay in beautiful home on the canal. This home really has everything you need. The living room furniture was super comfy as was the generous outdoor seating. We spent most of our days just hanging out with parents/grandparents watching tv or enjoying the view and sunshine on the huge deck. The kitchen was very well stocked with plenty of room for preparing meals. We all agreed the beds are the most comfortable beds we've ever slept on in any rental. Our young adult kids also really enjoyed the paddle boards...so convenient right there on the canal Thank you Austin and Serena for being wonderful hosts. We can't thank you enough for allowing us to use the elevator for my 90 year old parents. Our family vacation would not have been possible otherwise. We also appreciate that we are able to bring our Labrador, and love the fenced yard. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. We can't wait until next time!

Cozy bayhouse with a great location!
We loved staying at this bayhouse. We have stayed at countless ones through the years and we all agreed it was the best one yet! First off it’s so comfortable for a family gathering. The bedrooms and bathrooms were so nice and comfortable (sometimes rare in Galveston), the kitchen was nice and large for cooking and so well equipped, and the upstairs and downstairs outdoor space was awesome! Our little guy loved playing with the chalk and we played cornhole on the deck! Also maybe the most crazy couches ever, I literally looked for a tag to buy haha. Don’t pass this house up!!!

We purchased this property because our best friends saw it come available and they knew that they we were looking for an opportunity to be in Sea Isle. They literally took the sign out of the yard and said we have the perfect people for this place. Within the Month we became neighbors with our best friends. We purchased this property with the idea of it being the perfect place for our family to get together and create lots of memories together. We enjoy fishing off the dock, sunset boat cruises, floating the the canal with our best friends.... listening to Yacht Rock. Sun rise and Sun set walks on the beach with our dogs or one wheeling down the beach with the family. We never want to leave and we just know you will feel the same.
