Adorable, completely renovated mobile home with a warm cottage feel located on a beautifully wooded and serene parcel. Giving it a feel of a secluded cabin, yet just a hop, skip, and jump from many amenities! Just 20min from both Delaware Turf and Sports at the Beach. Also a great location for visiting our beautiful Delaware Beaches and State Parks without the huge price tag!! Also great place for traveling nurses! You'll love the charming feel of the fresh air and country living. This lovely home offers 2 bedrooms ( 1queen bed, and1 double). Extra sleeping accommodations in the living room , an extra single air mattress, and a pack and play are available as well. Fully stocked kitchen, complete with a coffee bar, central heat/air, washer & dryer, wifi, nice wooded yard which is great for kids to play, and a spacious screened in porch! All the luxuries of home are at your fingertips!

Fantastic find!

The property is clean and has everything you need. We’ve stayed at other locations near the DE turf but this was the best by far the owner even baked cookies for us! We will definitely book here again.

Wava was fantastic and responsive to all aspects of rental and check in/out. Simple 25 minute drive east on Route 16 to the coastal highway to enjoy all the beaches have to offer but then escape for night to a peaceful home set into the woods.

Great location close to DE Turf and everything

This place is a perfect location if you are at DE Turf or looking to get to beaches. After a grueling day of lacrosse for my son it’s great to go back to some place that feels like home and not a hotel. This is our go to place!

Hostess with the mostess

Wava is an amazing host. She has thought of everything her guest will need. The house is decorated nicely and very cozy. She provides water bottles, coffee, and the kitchen has everything you need. I would definitely stay there again.

Loved this little cabin in the woods

This was such a nice place, it’s very clean and just cute. And we loved the homemade cookies. Highly recommend we will defiantly stay there again.

Great quiet place.

This was a very nice fully updated place in the woods that made it quiet and peaceful. It was well stocked and cozy. I highly recommend this place.

Just like home

Beautiful place geared towards our comfort. Quiet. Firepit outside with plenty of wood & nice grill. Price was wonderful. Will definitely stay again!! Host was exceptional.

Great. Quiet and 45 min. from the beach. Henlopen State Park beach is a hidden gem with easy to find parking and great for kids. I would just say bring plastic cups if you have young kids because it's all glasses and mugs but it was a fully stocked kitchen and everything was easy to find.

Great!

Everything was amazing. The host was very welcoming and had our house spectacular. Close to the beaches for us to visit those. The feel of the location was great. It felt like you were in the woods without being in the mountain. The extra amenities that the host had at her house was above anything that I’ve experienced in a VRBO house.

The home was very welcoming. It was very clean and we'll kept! We wanted to stay longer after just staying one night! There were extra mini soap bars, toothpaste bottles, and toothpaste. This helped one person from our party tremendously. It was a relaxing time

Hi - I am Wava, the manager of the Swartzentruber Cottage!
I was born and raised in the mid-west and met my husband at a Bible College in Ohio, got married and moved to Delaware! We bought the family farm and raised our family of 4 children (two daughters & twin sons) who are all married and have families of their own! I have always loved having guests in our home whether it was friends for a meal or out of town overnight guests! It has always been a dream of mine to run a VRBO where guests can have a place to stay and enjoy the quiet country living! I love being able to use our place to bless others and show hospitality to them!
