Great experience in Austin at this home. Great location walking distance or short Uber to everything in town. Hosts were responsive and helpful. I would recommend!

Cancelled my reservation the morning of my stay
Very disappointed in the lack of communication from owner. Emails, texts, and calls went unanswered in the days leading up to my stay. The morning of, she emailed and cancelled my reservation leaving us with nowhere to stay. Excuse about replacing a water heater or something. Could have easily told us 2 or 3 days before to give us time to find another place as. Would not recommend this property die to lack of professionalism.

Explore East Austin
This was a great base for us a as we explored east Austin, filled with history, murals, and restaurants including Hoover’s and Mr Natural. I’d heard of them for years and finally enjoyed my first visits. Murals galore of a wide range of subjects, including the area’s history, social justice, and the fabulous Famous Vegetarians mural at Mr Natural

Great little house with great energy
We loved this house for our weekend trip. It is stocked with everything you need in the kitchen and the arrangement of furniture is well thought out. We also loved the unique decorative style. The house had a great location for walking to/from Rainey street. Christina, the host, was readily available via messaging to answer any questions we had and even made sure we could use the available bike if we needed. Couldn't have had a better location!

Home Away from Home
We rented Christina’s place for a month, waiting for our first grandchild to be born, and then, of course, spending time spoiling the new baby. The space was so accommodating for our dog, for dinner with the other set of grandparents, and for family that visited in the weekends. It was a wonderful time!

AWESOME East Austin home!
This home is a lovely unassuming property on the outside with really cool Asian motif decor on the inside! Christina, our host, provided excellent recommendations for must see/do in Austin and she readily responded to our inquiries! She was a delight! The home was well-equipped with bottled water, coffee, and coffee creamer as well as stocked pantries though we didn't cook during our short stay. If we did, it would have been easy to whip up a meal in the nicely renovated kitchen! And the AC worked perfectly for the duration!! We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Austin!! Thank you, Christina!!!

Great house, very clean & welcomingl
This place is great. We were in town to visit family and this place was perfect. We had out dog with us and there was plenty of space for her to run around. There were some cool water bottles in the fridge when we arrived, kitchen was stocked with coffee and the bathrooms had some soap & shampoo. All of the decorations had an Asian theme, beautiful succulants throughout the nicely landscaped yard. Everything about this place was well thought out & well done. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Austin.

Christina is the BEST HOST
Christina was incredibly attentive and communicative without being intrusive. She even brought over a home-cooked meal! The place was clean and spotless, super cute!!! It's a great location, walkable to the lake and great coffee shops. Christina was determined to make sure that our stay was perfect- and it was. Thank you, Christina!!

Austin native for over 34 years. I wasn't born in Austin (Colorado Springs actually) but I got here as soon as I could (age 2).
Super chill-laid back, creative creator - lover of all things beautiful.
I love authentic, brilliant, considerate, heavily passion-ed food, ideas and people. And of course, I love animals, too. Dogs especially.
I'm a proud first generation American. My father is from Cienfuegos, Cuba and showed me the beautiful Caribbean ocean surrounding his colorful country.
My mother is from Vientiane, Laos (family from Hanoi, Vietnam) and taught me how to be resourceful and creative in the kitchen.
Inside my home, you'll notice one of a kind pieces & furniture cohesively put together, collaborating my mother & father's cultures with some of my favorite artifacts and decor brought back from both countries - along with Thailand.
I've resided on the east side of Austin since 2007 and never want to leave! I've been hanging out in the Holly Street neighborhood since I was 5, attending Cristo Rey Catholic Church, with my family physician directly next door to the church. I've really watched the city drastically transform over the last 3 decades.
There's always something interestingly new to discover right outside your door. Just step out and experience it for yourself!
