This one bedroom, one bath condo is all about the location! In the heart of historic downtown Salida. Walk to all the restaurants, shops, galleries. Minutes to the miles of Salida Mountain Trails- hike, bike, raft right out your front door!

This condo offers:

**Neighbor is 420 friendly, which leads to shared aromas. We provide an air purifier for your use.

All Pinon homes are "vacation ready" with a fully appointed kitchen, towels and linens. Hand, dish and shower soaps are provided, as well as toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, salt and pepper, coffee filters and laundry soap.

Pinon Vacation Rentals provides guest support from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 pm.

All guests are responsible for reading Welcome Book “Check-In and Check-Out instructions.

~Acceptance of the terms of the Rental Agreement and all Rental Policies is ASSUMED at the time of reservation. 24 to 48 hours before arrival, check-in instructions will be sent to guest.

**This home is rented for personal vacation use only. Any other use including large gatherings or parties is not allowed. Renters must abide by all rental terms and policies, as well as all local applicable property covenants, restrictions, regulations and laws. Any evidence of smoking, use of firearms, driving ATV's other than in the driveway as access only, unapproved pets, unauthorized use of property grounds, damage resulting from violation of rental policies, and/or excessive mess may result in charges up to $3000.00 to the Guest's credit card on file, as authorized by Guest's approval of the terms of the Rental Agreement.

Reservations may be canceled more than 30 days prior to check-in with full refund. 14 to 29 days prior to arrival 50% refund. No refunds will be issued after this cut-off date for any reason. No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions, spotty internet service or interruption of service.

Nice place but note on tub (which was a HUGE reason for choosing) indicated that the hot water heater couldn't support using the tub. Darned... can't that be fixed?

Great location, however, a lot of things were frustrating: (1) Poor ventilation system - the front windows were left open before we got there because there's no central AC and the weather was very hot. This caused a ton of dust to enter the unit from the construction on the street in front of the unit. As a result, every hard surface in the kitchen/living room area had dust on it that hadn't been cleaned when we got there. Also, because the windows had been left open, the entire unit smelled like smoke when we got there because the next door neighbor likes to sit out front and chain smoke. 2) Related to the poor ventilation system - the only way of cooling the room where the bed is is to use the swamp cooler - this works ok, but you have to fill it with a ton of water for it to last through the night. On night 1, we ran out of water twice and were woken up by a beep because the swamp cooler unit was out of water. We learned our lesson by the second night, but still, it was very frustrating. 3) This is pretty minor, but why have a coffee machine there if you aren't going to leave filters for people to make coffee with? Maybe there were some that I couldn't find, but there certainly weren't any in the area where the coffee was. 4) Having to park around the block from the unit makes it mildly annoying to load/ unload compared to the other units in the same complex that are accessible from the back. Overall, would not recommend for the price, despite the great location.

Great location for a couples’ stay.

Accurate listing and great location close to the riverfront, shops, bars, and restaurants. The apartment smelled like marijuana due to the neighbor’s hobbies. That was the only downside to the property. I’d stay again but didn’t enjoy the smell.

Nice downtown location

Clean and nicely designed space. Grocery store one block and access to downtown Salida perfect. Dog friendly, but no yard or grass close by. Dedicated parking too small for our vehicle and unable to use.Great space!

Wonderful Location/Cigarette Smell

If it weren't for the cigarette smoke/smell coming from attached unit, we would give this stay a 5-star review. Unfortunately, the unit next door has at least one smoker and the smell permeates through the vents and into the unit. The smell is most noticeable in the living room and in the bathroom. If you don't mind cigarette smoke/smell, then this is a great place with perfect location. The bed is comfortable and it was easy to work with the management company.

George's condo was lovely. It was nicely decorated and had everything we needed. The location was great—it was within walking distance to downtown restaurants and shopping.

Great place to stay in BEAUTIFUL Salida-Walk Everywhere!

Everything was as listed. Off-street parking for 1 car. Walking distance to just about everything in Salida. The best bakery Little Red Hen s just around the corner as well as a short walk to the Riverwalk. After a great night out it is a short walk home. Bathroom was beautiful!

Great place-close, but not too close, to historic downtown

The condo was very comfortable and clean. Kitchen well-stocked with bright bowls/mugs/etc. Only negatives are in transparency of ad - the pictures show a loft, but the loft is not allowed. I didn't want or need the loft, but still, don't show it as a cool thing if not available. Second, the pictures show an awesome looking deep tub with jets. One of the reasons I picked the place. But...apparently the hot water heater doesn't have capacity to fill tub. Again, not a deal breaker, but don't show it as something to enjoy if it isn't available. Other than that, I had everything I needed and it was very comfortable.

Not worth it

List for rental Exposed wires in living room from lamp, & it’s still plugged in. No safety bars in the bathroom for getting out of tub Fire extinguisher should displayed where renters can find it. This one way in the rental & one way out, there is an egress window but it is in the front of the house. Should have been considered that a fire(God forbid) could sometimes does start in the kitchen. People in the bedroom & bathroom would not & or could not get out to get to the front of the building. Also if the place was suppose to have been vacuumed or swept, it was not. There are dead bugs in the living room under the TV cabinet. We swept the kitchen floor & got a ton of dog hair. By the way, you need to inform any renters before they rent that the neighbor smokes marijuana during the day & made us Nauseous. I have asthma & that was pretty uncomfortable for several hours. We came here to Salida to rest & to get out of the big city. The garbage disposal did not work and the tub needed anti slip device. disappointed by this.

Great Value and Location

George's condo is located just off the main strip of restaurants and shops in Salida and was right around the corner from our new favorite pizza place, Moonlight Pizza. So, fantastic location. It was a great space for our family of four and our dog. We had a wonderful time!

Great location, not homey feel

Location in Salida was great and accessible. Walking distance to many great bars and restaurants. Unfortunately the condo itself fell short of our expectations. Upon entering, the condo smelt like marijuana, so we to air it out to even be in the establishment. It did not feel like a home but instead had a quickly put together ikea typed hotel like feel to it. Hot tub was unable to be used and amenities were very minimal. The paper products were as basic as they come and the coffee that came with the listing (as it said the first “pot” was on them) consisted of 2 tablespoons of what smelt like Folgers coffee, without coffee filters to use. We would stay in the location in Salida again, but not at this place in particular.
