Adorable Mountain Getaway

Secluded cabin located in a private, gated subdivision. The cabin sits on Musick Creek with two decks that roll down to the creek. The view is the creek and the woods and is very private.

Walking distance to Restaurants and shops. Listen to the creek from inside and out. Decorated to preserve the quaint cabin feeling while providing the latest in amenities. This is a real cabin that was originally built in the 1940's and remodeled in 2008. Interior is all knotty pine with maple wood floors in the living room, loft and bedrooms, tile in the kitchen and laundry room, and a rock fireplace.

Approximately 1 mile to Shaver Lake. Approx. 20 min. to China Peak Ski Resort.

What a great little cabin! It was the perfect size for our small family of four. The kitchen had everything one would need to prep a delicious meal and the retro stove was super neat. It's located in a nice little gated neighborhood with super friendly neighbors and great views of the rolling sierras right out the back of the tract. Super close to Shaver Lake and the little town. Loved our stay here!

Great location and property

My family stayed here over the christmas hollidays and thia place was great. Close to town and well equiped. The host is very responsive and we would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for a small family, very close to shaver lake village restaurants and stores. Extremely comfortable beds and furniture. You’ll feel right at home here for your vacation.

Great tranquil community hidden in the trees. Private. Perfect location close to shaver/huntington lakes and Dinkey creek. Cottage was perfect for the two of us plus one night had a visit from family who stayed comfortable in the upstairs area. Walking distance to Bobs market and the little town. Loved the cottage vibe. No barking dogs, noisy children or anyone screaming by on e-bikes!

Great summer visit

This property is an authentic, mountain cabin that reminds me so much of our own family cabin growing up. It also has all the updated amenities you would need.It was a great size for our family of four. The teenagers got the upstairs area and loved climbing on all of the boulders around the house and in the quaint neighborhood. We were gone most of the days at the lake, but enjoyed the bbq grill and smart tv in the evening. Will definitely stay here again when we head up to Shaver Lake.

Winter Hideaway

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. It was very cozy with the fireplace and room heaters. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, pots and pans. We would highly recommend staying here.

Perfect little cabin

I really enjoyed my stay at the cabin. As a solo traveler, I felt very safe, especially in the gated community. The owners provided lots of firewood so I was able to enjoy a warm fire in the beautiful fireplace. It was very comfortable and just what I needed to recharge before the holidays.

Quaint, quiet, and gorgeous

We stayed here with our mostly grown children and had a wonderful time. The cabin is absolutely beautiful and well equipped! Town is a short walk or even shorter drive away. Shaver Lake Pizza was delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return again without question.

Quick Thanksgiving stay

My wife's family has cabins nearby. We needed our own space as my mother was with us. Perfect cabin with bedroom and bath downstairs for my mom and upstairs for my wife and I. Great location. Cozy, well done cabin for the space and layout. Having firewood provided was great.

My family and I have been coming to Shaver Lake since I was 12 years old. We are all boaters and skiers. Shaver Lake is a beautiful lake with just about every water sport imaginable. You can rent ski boats, fishing boats, party barge pontoons, jet skis and kayaks. There are some great places to eat and quaint shops. It is also located just a few miles from China Peak Ski Resort. This place is great year round...

It is absolutely serene and private, yet within walking distance to town and the lake. It also sits on Musick creek and the deck goes right down to the creek. Quite often we awake to deer drinking in the creek. The cabin has no paint on the inside - all knotty pine walls and ceilings and maple wood floors.
