We had a very quick trip as a family of four to the mountains, but would have loved to stay longer if we could. The rooms and king beds were wonderful. The house was spacious, fully supplied kitchen, and the outdoor area was very nice. We enjoyed the fireplace, large cribbage board, and jenga. Check in and communication was very thorough and easy. We would love to stay here again, and I would highly recommend this cabin.

This is a great place to stay! Cozy, comfortable, and well supplied. It was truly a “home away from home.” Casey was a great host, friendly and easy to contact. I highly recommend this location!

The Cabin setting was beautiful. The family cares very much for their cabin, it is very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The cabin was roomy, it had a nice fireplace that we gathered around to watch a movie and relax/read. There was plenty of firewood, the beds were comfortable. We took several walks through the neighborhood, went snow sledding at Tamarack park(you need a park permit, you can get easily in the town of shaver). It was a great family vacation and would definitely recommend. We plan on booking again next year.

Our family of seven absolutely loved staying at your mountain house and would love to come again! The location was beautiful and so close to Shaver Village and the snow/China Peak. The house was clean, cozy, and so comfortable. You had fun games, extra blankets, extra snow gear, all the kitchen appliances we needed, great TV channels, and lovely places to walk in the neighborhood. We appreciated that the closing instructions were so simple and easy. Thank you for providing such a wonderful place for us to relax after the holidays!

Great place for some rest and relaxation in a 3 bedroom 2 bath cabin near Shaver Lake.

We enjoyed walking the neighborhood and the quiet evenings with a fire.

This cabin is very special not just for the beauty of the location, but for all the homey treasures, family lore and history. It was delightful to "tour" the house appreciating the quilts, furniture and great, great grandfather's photos. Thank you very much.

Get away for Fraternity brothers

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was just as advertised as well as being clean and well stocked with utensil, plates etc. It is a perfect location to enjoy the mountains and forest as well as easy to get to the lake. We will stay there again.

Excellent cabin for children

The cabin was very large for 3 families of 3 with young children and toddler. Lots of rooms for the kids to run around with books and toys for them to play with in the closet. Located about 10 minutes from town, but there is lots of driveway for the kids to use bikes and area around the house is good for the kids to explore. Overall wonderful experience!

We had a great time! A lot of fun toys and games for the kids. The rooms had a lot of nice space for luggage and clothes. The kitchen was fully loaded with supplies for cooking.

Magic in the Mountains

Absolutely loved the homey feel of the cabin. Great front room with a fire and plenty of space to relax. Amazing view of the trees outside and plenty of space to have our dog run around, with the cutest little pond nearby. Also loved how close the cabin was to town, shaver lake, and some AMAZING hikes. Big Big Fan!

Everyone happy!

Excellent,comfortable home that had all that we needed. Loved the fireplace . Easy to town and lake. Host information was helpful. Comfortable beds. Little ones enchanted by “Bearatone” tree carving! We will be back!

Tranquility

I've stayed at several houses and condos near Shaver Lake and this was by far the best. Beautiful community with towering pine trees and lush greenery abound. Great just to get out and walk around the streets to see the nice homes settled in nature. The house itself was very clean and comfortable. I love to cook and the kitchen wasn't lacking anything I needed. The wrap around deck was great as you could follow the sun if you liked and also there was plenty of shade as well if the sun got too intense. Water pressure was great too. That is sometimes lacking in rentals but not here. Quiet and serene. Communication with owner was outstanding so there was no question that wasn't answered in a timely manner. Can't say enough about this home. The best!
