Coronado Beach Condo - centrally located to beach and town

Welcome to The Monterey, unit #204. Situated in the heart of Coronado Village, 1 block from the main street (Orange Ave) restaurants, shopping and just 4 blocks to the beach. Located in the historic Monterey Building this 2 bedroom / 1 bath condo is fully furnished with one king bed and one queen bed. Indoor laundry and less than a block to the local Vons grocery store add to the convenience of this location. Beautiful dark wood floors and updated kitchen including granite counters and stainless steel appliances. Tons of recreational activities in Coronado include tennis, pickleball, golf, skate park, watercraft rentals, one of the best beaches in America and the world famous Hotel del Coronado. Rental rates vary depending on the month and duration of lease. Military clause is acceptable.

Staying in the Monterey

Our hostess was super nice and helpful. The place is clean and comfortable. If stairs are an issue for you then the location of the unit could be concerning but the location of the complex on the island is superb. We enjoyed our stay tremendously and would definitely consider returning.

Island Paradise

What can I say? It was a wonderful month. The condo was well equipped and comfortable for us We met a few neighbors and they were very kind and friendly. The condo is in a great location
a short walk to the ocean and the Del and a nice walk to the Bay. It is a half block from Orange Avenue
.we loved the location and hope to come back next year.

Excellence value and comfort

We stayed a Monty, with different grandchildren coming in each week. We had a great time. Everything we needed was available, blender, toaster, extra seating, etc. very thoughtful. Tina responded immediately whenever we contacted her , before our stay and during our stay, she is fabulous to work with, so helpful. Great location in the middle of the village and less than a minute walk to bring home groceries. Within a few minutes of the free shuttle. Great value for the cost.

A Hidden Gem in Paradise

“This is where we’re staying?!” Our children exclaimed as we approached The Monterey. After easily parking in front of the building we entered The Monterey to the sound of the courtyard fountain and the sight of the awe-inspiring landscaping designed by Kate Sessions—“The Mother of Balboa Park”. Opening the beautiful door to our new, albeit temporary, home put smiles on our faces as we took in the light-filled rooms. As we spent our July in paradise, we woke up each morning to the soothing sounds of the courtyard fountain and fell asleep to the coastal breezes flowing through the numerous windows. The condo was well-appointed, comfortable, and in a great location. The Monterey is across the street from Vons making grocery shopping extremely easy and close to the beach (10-minute walk). Orange Ave is one street over. You wouldn’t know though by how quiet it is in the condo and courtyard. We met several neighbors and they were all very nice. The beds were both comfortable. One is softer than the other which is nice to have a firmer bed and a softer bed. The couch was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals at home. The views into the courtyard were so relaxing and we enjoyed watching the sunset each night. We were even able to watch two firework shows from the condo on Independence Day! Tina was a wonderful and attentive host! I highly recommend staying at this historic property and hope we can come back soon!

Felt like home

We spent a month and loved the condo! It was very nicely decorated and well equipped. We felt very at home there. It’s a charming historic complex. The location couldn’t have been better. Right across from the grocery store and an easy walk to restaurants and shops. Tina our host was very responsive and made our stay very welcoming.

Great apartment, location and stay in Coronado

Great 2 BR/1 BA apartment in Coronado. Easy walking to Beach, Shops, Restaurants, Hotel Del, etc. Very nice setup - Kitchen, roomy living room, W/D, and bedrooms. Highly recommended

Very highly recommended - Great location, apartment in Coronado

Very highly recommended. Lovely 2 BR/1 BA apartment close to everything in Coronado. Easy walk to Beach, Hotel Del, Shops, and Restaurants. Only one block off Orange but very, very quiet. Very nice place with two very good sized bedrooms, W/D, and very spacious living area + spacious kitchen with all new appliances. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay by one month. Tina was great and very helpful.
