A welcoming historic Victorian home on the East Side. Great location; 1/4 mile to Brown/RISD/Waterfire, 10 mins to dwntwn & theaters, and 30-40 mins to Newport and beaches. It can graciously accommodate 10 adults. This spotlessly clean home has an open concept kitchen/dining/living room, 3-4 living areas, 5+ large sunny bedrooms and 4 fireplaces. The master bedroom has a new en-suite bath and new king-sized bed. Biz-ready w/ off-street pkg. Access to new Brown U Athletics Complex, 1/4 mile away.

First of all, we love the house. It is the perfect place to gather as a family. And the hosts really have thought about everything, including the importance of coffee, comfortable beds, and kitchen where you can really cook. Plus, the house has been very clean both times we have stayed there. It is roomy and yet cozy at the same time. It is well located in Providence.

We had a fantastic stay at this spacious, well-laid-out home in College Hill. The house easily accommodated our 9-person family with a communal kitchen, dining area, living room, a separate TV room with a large screen, and a lovely porch. Check-in was smooth, the host was responsive, and everything was clean and well-prepared.The location is ideal — walkable to Brown University, RISD, restaurants, and shops. The neighborhood felt safe and welcoming. A gated park right across the street was perfect for children and really enhanced our stay, even though there weren’t many kid-specific items inside the house.Amenities were excellent: full kitchen, modern appliances, off-street parking, laundry, and a Sonos speaker. Wi-Fi had full coverage but was a bit slow for heavy use.One important note: both showers are located on the second floor. There is a bedroom and half-bath on the first floor, but the home may be challenging for guests with mobility issues.Overall, a comfortable, well-appointed home in a beautiful, walkable neighborhood. Highly recommended!

Spacious, beautiful house for family gathering!!

Our kid graduated from RISD and family came to stay here with us. All the rooms were beautiful and we enjoyed cooking and streaming old movies together. There was another group occupying a top-floor apartment in the house, but we only heard footsteps through the ceiling and it was not disruptive. Wonderful stay!!

Special graduation weekend!

We were quick to book the house and apartment for Brown graduation after staying in the house my son’s freshman year. It’s the perfect setting for a big family. Well appointed and comfortable! We cooked, hosted a party, and accommodated family from all over the country.

Beautiful, we’ll-equipped home for family gathering

The property is a beautifully maintained, charming and highly functional large home, perfect for gathering friends and family for celebrations or local visits to PVD. Well equipped kitchen, making cooking easy and very comfortable beds. Exceptionally convenient to Brown (walkable) and other local spots. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return for future PVD visits. Hosts are very responsive and accommodating to requests like early check in where feasible.

Early Christmas

Hard to find a lovely property with plenty of comfie beds and baths.We were a family of 7 and had more than enough room to spread out and also come together. Large table in kitchen designed for 8-10 people! We had a lovely stay on the coldest days!Very good communication with hosts. Thank you for having us!Enough cups, mugs and plates for everyone:)

Amazing house

This was out second time staying at this property and I can’t say enough about what a great experience we had. It is a beautiful, old home with lots of charm. The kitchen is well equipped. We had some questions and the owner was quick to respond. It is in a fantastic location, an easy walk to Brown and shopping.

Cozy family time in Providence

Beautiful home, super location, gracious hosts!

We were in town to visit elderly relatives and brought our grandmother along to see her sister and brother in law. The first floor bedroom was perfect for her, and the rest of our family had more than enough room upstairs. All guests of all ages loved this house and the little ones really enjoyed the playground across the street. The hosts were fabulous. If we visit again, we will certainly stay in this home again! Excellent Location

Great location. The neighborhood is quite charming considering Providence is a city. My guests and I travelled to attend a conference at the Rhode Island Convention Center. The home is spacious with plenty of room for entertaining. We particularly loved the professional waffle maker.

Family and Friends Get Together!

A group of 10 of us stayed at the house this past weekend for a family/friend celebration. The house is very spacious and clean. There are multiple rooms and bathrooms of different sizes. The master bedroom and bathroom is gorgeous and well updated. The kitchen is renovated beautifully! Communication with the host was very easy and they responded in a well reasonable time. This was a perfect fit for our stay. We truly enjoyed it!

Best weekend ever!

The house was absolutely perfect for our son’s wedding weekend in Providence. The beauty of the house was the backdrop for his groomsmen’s preparations and photographs. Brown Graduation weekend!

We rented this gorgeous home for our daughter’s graduation from Brown. It’s the perfect blend of Victorian charm and modern convenience! It was also conveniently located close to her degree ceremony and only a few blocks to Brown University and Thayer so we were able to park the cars in the driveway and walk everywhere. The kitchen was well-appointed and stocked with all the essentials. The eating spaces were so beautiful that we ate every meal there and didn’t even bother with overcrowded restaurants. Whole Foods is just a couple minutes away. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. Everyone had their own beautiful space! This stunning home allowed us to relax in a lovely space and just made the entire weekend stress-free! We especially enjoyed the front porch every evening where we’d relax and have a glass of wine each evening. Bruce was very responsive and welcoming!

Perfect for brown parents

We celebrated Easter with our extended family. This house has all the amenities, is clean and has a wonderful kitchen. It’s perfect for a family. Whole Foods and liquor store is .2m away.

The host of this beautiful Victorian could not have been more welcoming and responsive. The location is perfect to walk towards Brown University or downtown Providence. Wish we had more time to utilize the beautiful kitchen and clawfoot tubs!

Perfect!

Three of my girlfriends and I stayed at this beautiful home for four days. It’s better than the listing. Details inside the house are beautiful. Everything you need is there. The host was amazing. As a matter of fact, one of my friends left her e-reader behind. The host notified me and then mailed it back. My friend had it within two days. If I could give this house a 10 rating I would. Beds were super comfortable. Everyone got their own room which is really nice. I would definitely go back.

Fabulous wedding weekend

We stayed at this beautiful Victorian home in Providence. Everything was perfect for our family to have our wedding weekend for my daughter’s wedding in Providence. The home is immaculate, so It is an old home with many modern touches. Everything you could possibly need in this home was available to you our host. Bruce was wonderful and very accommodating to all of our needs. We will definitely be back.

Perfect Stay in Providence

We rented this place for a Providence College basketball game and it was spectacular. The espresso machine they got makes a mean espresso. Also we did run into a little issue where I had left my coat with my keys in the pocket at a bar. Bruce was easy to get ahold of and promptly got his tenant to move his car so we could get one of the other cars out and resolve the situation. Place was clean, from the listing it looked like it lacked TVs but there were plenty. Beds were comfortable. Defintiely recommend!
