Nothing says comfort and convenience like this darling mountain home within minutes of Storyland! This retreat is not like others–it's so elevated that you and your loved ones will be able to see starry nights. All within close proximity to Attitash, Wildcat, Bear Mountain as well as hiking, restaurants, North Conway

Come back home from a fun-filled day to unwind in the living room, which has been furnished with guest comfort in mind with two sofas, a recliner, a smart TV (no cable), and a gas stove for chilly nights. You can play one of the many board games and challenge your friends to a fun competition or stream everyone's favorite series or movie. Then, when it's time to cook, put on the chef's apron and surprise the group with a delicious homemade meal thanks to the well-equipped kitchen. It's complete with everything you could ever need to whip up the most delicious meals and snacks–you can even use the free WiFi to look up on your phone that recipe you've been dying to try and surprise them even more! Your laundry needs will be covered and there won't be a need to search your nearest laundromat as this retreat comes equipped with a private washer/dryer on site.

We enjoyed our stay and loved that the property overlooked Mount Washington. The property was the perfect location to jet to Diana's Bath and Storyland with the family. The property was not as clean as we expected when we arrived but Vacasa was quick to apologize and would remedy for the next person. We accidentally wandered to The Club which was members only and were rudely confronted for not belonging. We apologized and left but it did make it clear that renters were not to wander the property beyond their immediate rental. We would have appreciated more written instructions in the rental with local information and restrictions beyond the Vrbo app. We would stay here again happily.

Great views of White Mountains. Perfect location for skiing Wildcat. Kitchen didn’t have many amenities (tools, pots/pans). Perfect for a family.

Although the property is a bit dated, it provides all the comforts you'd expect and great views of the mountains, in our case, Mount Washington! All was neat, clean and welcoming.

Quick weekend up North

Plenty of space for all 5 of us. Bedrooms were big, bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Living space was great! Lots of board games and seating. Would stay here again.

Beautiful Mountain View

We were in love 💖 with the view and location of the property. It was a relaxing time off from our busy life. My boys enjoyed the space it had in the outdoors to play my husband enjoyed the grill in the patio to cook for us. 😊👍Management was helpful and quick in replacing the grill that upon our arrival was found on the floor damaged. We did several fun activities that were no more then an hour away. There is an aquarium just about 5 minutes away. We went to Santa's Village which is an amusement/water park about an hour away. We also went to Mount Washington's Railway also about an hour away. We totally recommend this beautiful property very clean, they even have a washer and dryer which i found so convenient to get our clothes clean before coming back home. We would love to come back again.

Basic but great living area

The livingroom and dining room were great for our family. Super comfortable. It doesn't take much to heat the place if you turn the fireplace on, we were able to be comfortable with the electric at a minimum. Kitchen could've used a few more staple pans and tools. Bathrooms were standard. Still only enough linen for 4 people when reserved for 5. It was extremely difficult to find at night when we arrived and needed to call Vacasa for assistance. Also the trash compactor was locked and were unable to put our trash in it when it was time to leave. Food delivery is not a realistic option.

Ok stay.

The condo was old and definitely needed some tlc. However, it was nicely decorated and clean
 for the most part. I was disappointed that they rearranged the bedrooms and my husband and I didn’t get the “master suite” with the private bathroom. They switched the beds so the bunk beds were in the “master” and had the private bath. My kids enjoyed having the private bathroom. The kitchen wasn’t stocked that well compared to others I’ve stayed at. The fireplace was gas, not wood, and we couldn’t use it because it had a strong gas smell in the room when it was lit. The rental company, Vacasa, was very nice, prompt and made everything work smoothly. And YES ! Great view of Mt. Washington.

Had a largely positive stay here. It's a great, dog-friendly home base for activities in the area such as Storyland, visits to N. Conway, hiking, or a trip up Mt Washington. Spacious, well-equipped (unlike other reviewers, no complaints about the kitchen). Plenty airing space for dogs. Would be happy to come back. Our main complaint: the directions to the house in the welcome email are comically wrong, so we spent forever hunting it down. Coming off Linderhof Strasse, you have to take a sharp LEFT at the end of the road, not a right as the message states. Off Ludwig Strasse, the problem is that the south end of Christmas Mountain Road is actually called Santa Lane, so you can't get onto Christmas Mountain Road from Ludwig Strasse. It doesn't help that Google Maps (which opens when you click the Get Directions link in the welcome message) shows you the wrong building! It *is* correct in Apple Maps. Of course none of the people you meet and ask for directions actually live there so nobody can help you. Also, contrary to the welcome email, *no* Vacasa signage out front. (Minor) issues: Main kitchen light didn't work. Screens are missing in some windows, so you can't really open them to let air in, which would have been nice to cool the house down on hot summer nights (no A/C, which we didn't realize so entirely our fault). But they provide several fans. Smoke detector started beeping the low battery signal at night. Vacasa field service responded by text promptly.

Great view, Vacasa did not address any problems

I've stayed in this area many times, and that's how I chose this particular condo. Also, the price was very good. However, communications with Vacasa were troubled from the beginning. (1) I attempted to find out the bed configuration including using the posted photos and got conflicting descriptions from Vacasa. There is not a queen sleep sofa as I was told, however there is a full bed with 2 twins. (2) The kitchen was not very clean so we cleaned it ourselves. (3) We had mechanical problems such as not being able to control the gas stove and received no support whatsoever. The main view windows would not open or close and were dirty. I emailed and texted, but nothing was done. The views were as advertised and we love this location. And the price was good. But Vacasa was not. I will look for a place with a "real" host next time.

Nicely preppped for short stay. Bedframe not attached to the headboard in MBR. It fell onto bed a couple times. Gas fireplace remote not working properly so I couldn’t regulate the temperature in the unit.

Meeting New England fall in White Mountains

The property generally is okay, but the furniture is very old. The single bed in second bedroom broke and first night one person slept on mattresses put on the floor. Luckily the Vacasa man fixed this bed next day. Small problem was also with stove, which also was fixed by Vacasa man. We visited White Mountain region for many years and had a very good vacation again.

Responsive service

Internet was not working upon arrival which also meant TV wasn’t working. VACASA staff was very responsive and had internet service restored within 24 hours. Great place and great location for Wildcat and Attitash skiing

Great spot!

Loved the space, loved the location. Spacious and well maintained. Only issue was the snow removal. Driveway was plowed but walk didn’t get shoveled until 24 hours after final 10-12” of snowfall. 5 star otherwise.

Cozy Mountain Ski Stay

I have stayed at Christmas mountain multiple times. Needed to find a new unit as previous rented property was sold. This unit was great, very cozy with good views. Very clean and everything worked well. There were no complicated checkin or out processes. Kitchen well stocked with pots, pans, plates. Could have used some wine glasses. Overall great stay and close to slopes.
