Great place to stay for our family visit to Paris! Would easily recommend this to anyone. The apartment is quite rustic, which is what we expected and a decent trade-off for a great location and the size of the place and the cleanliness. And despite the fact there isn’t any air conditioning, the place was relatively cool in 38C heat. I would say anything below 30C outside, this place stays comfortable and anything more is bearable unless you’re the kind of person who keeps the AC on in the summer like an ice box. The positioning of the unit on the building means it doesn’t get morning sun and there are plenty of windows to throw open and get a good cross breeze after it starts to cool in the evening. For anyone else considering staying here, it’s a 3rd floor apartment but with a tiny elevator for 2 people with luggage or 3 people super squished in, the floorboards are creaky, the bathroom is quirky and the sink is smaller than a water fountain. But it has everything you need. It has a small kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, clothes washer, Nespresso, kettle and very basic cutlery, dishes, etc.. the place is supplied with 3 fans to keep things relatively cool. The couch and furniture is showing a bit of wear but to be expected, but I found the beds to be decently firm and not sagging which is the most important thing to me for a place to sleep. Proximity to the subway is great, with the M2 across the street, bike path also right across if you want to to rent bikes.
