Property Manager Experience

Overall, the property met our needs and was well kept. Close to necessities like grocery stores, restaurants, takeout, etc. There are train tracks that run behind the home and horns blow regularly (sometimes during the night), so could be an issue for those with small children. We did have a concerning experience with the property manager (Kim) who called us the day after check-in accusing us of parking a moving truck and trailer in the driveway and demanding to know why. I assured her our party arrived in a single vehicle (SUV) and there was never a moving truck/trailer in the driveway. After several more minutes of continued accusation and mentions that she drove by and saw it herself, I asked her to confirm the property address she was referring to. Turns out she had called the wrong guests at the wrong property. After realizing her mistake, Kim merely laughed it off and didn’t even bother to apologize. We likely won’t be returning after this experience.

Thank you for your review. I did apologize several times as I was embarrassed but I am sorry that there was a misunderstanding and maybe you did not hear me. It was a mistake as it can happen to anyone so I am sorry that this happened during your time here. I also want to mention about the train. We are a bit far from track there is an entire apartment complex in the back of the house and and woods separating the train. The noise can be heard from a far distance but not enough to wake someone of a child up. We do also have a fenced backyard so no one can travel to the back. To be honest we have several reviews on Airbnb and no one has ever given feedback like this before.

Casual Place to Bond with Family & Friends

My family wanted to get away from NYC for Christmas and booked this place just few days before arrival. It was less than 1.5 hours away from NYC which was perfect because we had two tots in our group which makes it challenging to drive for more than two hours. The place was clean and the kids loved the snowflake decorations around the fireplace. There are lots of beaches nearby which would be great if visiting during summer. The spacious backyard with BBQ grill would be awesome during summer too. The self check in process was super convenient and easy. The master bedroom memory foam mattress was really comfortable, which was another plus. Thank you for the great place!
