Quiet Studio located on 110 acre ranch with walking trails

The Casita is the perfect place to relax and get away from the city. It sits on our 110 acre ranch with over 4 miles of private hiking and biking trails and a private spring feed creek. Hike to the top of our hill and enjoy a sunset with a glass of wine. Our ranch boasts a variety of wildlife such as deer, rabbits, wild turkeys, foxes, seasonal hummingbirds, butterflies and of course our free range chickens. The patio of the casita is the perfect place to relax on a cool night next to a warm fire in the chiminea. Our property has the best stargazing around. You can hike to the hill or just sit on the porch and gaze up at the stars. Our family has lived on this ranch for over 45 years and love it. Your troubles will melt away and you will be recharged. Our ranch is a Natural Enthusiasts paradise. Come back to the casita and relax under a rainwater shower collected right off the roof.
The casita offers you a handmade queen bed from cedar that was resourced right from the ranch. When building the casita, we repurposed many items such as the original barn door from our barn, the vanity in the bathroom and our recycled glass window. Sculptures from our grandfather’s art studio decorate the porch area.
This property is only 4 miles from downtown Blanco. We are ideally situated between San Antonio, Austin, Wimberley, and Fredericksburg. Beautiful Hill Country drives to wineries, distilleries, lavender farms, antique shops, and Blanco & Pedernales State Parks.

We celebrated my husband's birthday here. We enjoyed our stay and the walking trails! We only stayed for one night, wished we could've stayed longer. We stopped by Texas Cannon Brewery for a couple of drinks and had dinner at The Redbud cafe and listened to live music. This was our second time in Blanco, Tx and will definitely be back.

Peaceful Getaway

The property was as advertised. Clean, quiet and a great getaway. It is centrally located to Fredericksburg, Dripping Springs, Wemberley all the biggies. A perfect place to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary.

3 Dry Wells Ranch Casita

This charming casita is perfect for a quiet getaway in the hill country. The studio was just as described. The front yard/ patio area is a great place to unwind if you're not hiking on the scenic trails. Highly recommend this casita if you're looking for some outdoor time and a clean comfortable casita to rest at night. We really enjoyed our stay here. Thanks, Louann! Relaxing, quiet and peaceful!

We thoroughly enjoy our time at the Casita on 3 Dry Wells Ranch. The atmosphere is ideal for a laid back, enjoyable stay. The Casita is a short drive from downtown Blanco, where it seemed there were endless things going on, not to mention the great restaurants. The owners were respectful of our privacy, yet open to conversation otherwise. We look forward to coming back.

Beautiful escape from the city

We basically had the whole property to ourselves. The room is cozy with only the things we needed for the weekend. We were able to go on long uninterrupted walks up the hill and sat up on the hillside over looking the hill country as the sun set. Would definitely come back, this place is great if you want to be alone in the countryside.

Great stay!

We did a super quick trip to hill country and enjoyed our ranch retreat here. It had everything you could need, the decor was cute, pillows and bed were comfy, and the hiking trails were great to explore.

Comfortable Cute Casita

We wish we could have stayed longer! A perfect location in hill country! A comfortable stay for 2, or 2 more if they’re little kids. The casita is simple and darling and had everything we needed. If you like homemade jam, be sure to ask about that. Delicious! We also enjoyed walking some of their trails. That’s a must for the view and sunset!

Loved every minute

It was hard to leave today. It was everything we wanted for our school Christmas Break. The ranch is beautiful especially the overlook. The owners were amazing and so friendly. We cannot wait till we are able to come back. Thank you for allowing us to make memories at your beautiful Casita.
