Welcome to paradise! The Silly Sailfish is 1 of 8 stand-alone single-family homes within the 25-unit Coral Lagoon community. Home features include: convenient vehicle parking at the home, use of the 40ft boat slip positioned directly off the patio and located very close to the pool. We invite you to enjoy our clean and comfortable residence with its bright and open floor plan. The fully equipped kitchen is ready to cook and entertain. French doors open onto a large outdoor covered deck with electric grill, ample seating and beautiful water views.
The second floor has 3 bedrooms with vaulted ceilings and 2 full baths. The spacious Master Suite has a king bed with premium bedding, spacious closets, attached bath with walk-in shower and private balcony. The Queen Suite has a queen-sized bed with luxurious bedding and overlooks the resorts manicured lawn. The Twin Suite offers 2 twin beds and shares a full bathroom with the Queen Suite. Every bedroom has vaulted ceilings with a ceiling fan and TV with cable in addition to high-speed Wi-Fi Internet. Interested in boating or fishing??? Coral Lagoon offers access to BOTH the Atlantic and the Gulf within minutes! This is a LUXURY very few resorts offer!! The resort is located on 6 acres of mature tropical landscape oceanside, immediately adjacent to Vaca Cut and Key Colony Beach. Coral Lagoon Resort offers a heated in-ground pool, use of on sight trailer storage and boat ramp (small fee applies) through the Boat House Marina. Wonderful! Easy to communicate with the host ahead of time. We are Floridians and drive down to the keys every year and try to stay in Coral Lagoon. This was our third stay within Coral Lagoon, and this was by far the nicest, cleanest, easiest experience thus far. We also rented a boat and were able to use the marina without a hitch. The location was quiet and private. We felt safe and had so much fun! Looking forward to our next adventure to marathon!

Shelly, Thank you for staying at our home in Marathon. Just to clarify, the first line of the description states the canal is closed and under construction. That has been in the description since August of 2024. A one star review is not reflective of the situation.

Thank you for the review and staying at our home in Marathon. Just to make you aware, the construction is in the introduction description of the home on VRBO. Sorry, that was overlooked when you booked the home, we expect the canal project to be complete 100% by the end of March 2026.

We had a wonderful stay. It was clean, and everyone was happy with their bedroom. There was lots of room to accomodate all 6 of us. The pool was also very nice. The location was great we were able to take a day trip to Key West and we enjoyed going to Bahia Honda State Park. We had an enjoyable family vacation. Jeff was quick to respond to our inquiries.
