Easy booking process and host was gracious and welcoming, available through duration of our stay.Unit: location was good, unit was clean when we arrived, easy to access with front door code, reasonably stocked bathrooms with necessities. Layout is exactly what we expected and gave our family of four plenty of space to spread out, probably more space than we needed but we had larger party at time of booking and several backed out semi-last minute. Living room furniture was tired and worn, patio furniture was horribly uncomfortable and bolts could stand some tightening. Cannot speak to how well kitchen was stocked, we didnât cook. If youâre looking for a place to stay for fishing or enjoying the area, this is an acceptable, but not premium, unit.Pool: Hereâs where things went south for us. Cabana Club is 15-20 min drive, which is clearly articulated in the listing and I figured no big deal for us as we have teens. The Cabana Club pool was far below expectations, parking was limited and tight, tough to get seats around the pool, rules were absurd and loosely enforced, food and bar were exceedingly slow. Pool staff overall was largely friendly but I overheard a phone customer complaint when I was checking in one day and employee response was, we have plenty of other paying customers and she hung up. If you care at all about the pool experience, skip this unit. Stay at a property with Hawkâs Cay amenity access.
