We are in the heart of the Finger Lakes, so you will have access to hiking trails, wineries, breweries, beaches, kayaking, skiing and more! Driving distance to Watkins Glen/Niagara Falls/Rochester/Bristol Mountain.

Or stay in and enjoy the cozy feel of the cabin while listening to a record, drinking a hot cup of coffee or tea, enjoying a bon fire outside, or playing shuffle board. Our pictures are current, take a look!

Quiet getaway

This is our second year staying at “the cabin.” We hope to be back next year. I had the best sleep I’ve had in years in this peaceful home.

Beautiful area but it’s remote and peaceful.

Outside of property is beautiful with a lake in the back. House shows they made improvements but maybe didn’t use the right maintenance guy. Host responded to Inquiries quickly.

Loved this place!

The cabin was spacious and clean. The property was beautiful and very peaceful. We felt surrounded by nature. We enjoyed a campfire under the stars. We also hiked and explored the many parks and nature areas. The hostess was very helpful. She answered all questions promptly and even checked back to see how everything was going. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area!

Respite

If you want to enjoy wildlife and nature and dwell in peace, this is the place for you. We had a much-needed break at this getaway. Shannon was also a wonderful host. If you visit with very young children, bring a portable bathtub. There’s only a walk-in shower here.

A lovely little cabin back in the quiet woods. A good location for accessing the Finger Lakes and parks and Rochester. We love being outdoors, walking trails, picnicking, quiet woods, dark night skies, seeing sights. This was a good place for all of that. The cabin itself was comfortable for the two of us. The road up to the cabin is quite rough and we were glad we had an AWD vehicle, even in the summer. The cabin's water must be from a well because it smells of sulfur and iron. We bought bottled water for drinking and making coffee. The property itself is pretty and I enjoyed walking around on it, looking at all the wildflowers, and listening to the frogs in the pond. We would certainly consider staying again for a quiet getaway.

Great Getaway with out AC!

My family and I stayed while we were visiting family in town. It was very clean minus the occasional ant and funny water smell. Owner was responsive and checked in on how we were doing. The only things we were needing were batteries for remote, extra dish towels, larger pots and pans, baggies/tinfoil outdoor seating and Air Conditioning. Other than that the stay was comfortable and perfect for our family. Thank you Shannon!

Lovely, renovated cabin

Our late August stay in this secluded cabin on the hilltop was very special. Shannon is an incredibly responsive and generous host. Everything is sparkling clean and appliances are brand new. A small pond in the back of the property adds to the tranquility. You will be able to star gaze, search for frogs, grill outdoors and access the fire pit. Honeye is centrally located in the Finger Lakes region. So we took day trips to places like Niagara Falls, Rochester, Syracuse and Watkins Glen. Five stars!

Endroit calme, propre, dans la nature. Proche de la ville et sans vraiment de voisin. Par contre le chemin est cahoteux pour se rendre. Ça fait 2 années consécutives qu'on le loue et nous sommes très satisfait.
