Fully equipped rustic villa cared with all disinfection measures and offers you all the comforts so you can spend a good time with your family. In the property surroundings, you will find many birds and animals of the area, including the sloths living in the trees near the pool.
In less than 5 minutes you can be in La Fortuna downtown and enjoy its attractions, as well as being close to the most striking tourist and adventure places.

The location was great! Quiet neighborhood! The shower didn't produce hot water- maybe we weren't operating it correctly and if that's the case, maybe they can leave instructions on how to get it hot. Needed a few more wash clothes but other than that, all was great.

We enjoyed our stay. Property is in gated community with space for car park. Property is little dated but still in good condition and very comfortable. Response from the owner was prompt. We were very satisfied with our stay.

Quaint and close to town

Had all the needs for our short stay. Enjoyed the pool and were close to the Baldi hot springs. The shower was cold but everything else was great! Definitely recommend

Good value

This rustic cabin does the job for a family of four. The location is close to town. The price point is good. It’s not glamorous but gets the job done. We don’t spend a lot of time there during the day.

Great place

Great place with convenient location close to all sodas, grocery stores. Washer a dryer was a must for us so it was perfect. Swimming pool was great addition . Highly recommended!

Beautiful modern villa close to town and attractions.

My husband and I had a wonderful 3 night stay in this modern and private villa. It was located close to the town of La Fortuna and close to so many attractions. We had our morning coffee outside where i saw toucans flying from tree to tree. On a walk in the neighborhood, we saw a sloth in a tree scratchibg himself! A cute villa with a great location

The villa has an excellent location, close to town while being secluded. It had a nice patio where you could see birds every morning. The pool was nice and it was a short walk to the villa. The villa is clean and well-distributed, and the covered parking is appreciated during the rain. The washer and dryer were useful. The kitchen had the basic appliances, good for a quick and easy dinner. I would recommend to the host to add more plates and cups, more hangers in the bedrooms and a small table and chairs on the terrace. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and I will stay again for a short stay.

Great cabin and location

The cabin was great. AC worked great and it was very clean (once we got checked). We loved the pool access for our chill days. The location was perfect for us. Nice and quiet but just a short drive to many popular spots. We felt very safe here. Our check in was not very good. The host had a mix up on our check in day and the cabin was not ready/cleaned when we were suppose to check in. Luckily I had an eSIM on my phone so I could call the host directly. They don’t seem to use to VRBO chat. Once the host realized the mistake, they gave us the code for the door (because the code that was sent in the VRBO check in instructions was incorrect) so we could cool down and wait for them to set us up in another place to stay for that night. We ended up staying in a nice little place not far away which was good. We were told we could check into this place at 11:30am the next day or maybe earlier, they would message me when it was ready. Well we never got a message and we would periodically drive by to see if the cleaning staff was gone. We eventually got checked in but it basically ruined any chance of going out and doing anything that day. I’m still waiting for a reply on whether I will get any refund. It’s too bad because this place is very nice and the location is great. If you want to roll the dice on this place, I hope it works out for you because had it not been for the mix up and lack of communication I would give this place 5 stars.

Great Place

We loved this property! Very clean and comfortable. Saw a sloth and a toucan about a block away. The sounds of the wildlife at night were an added bonus! Had no problems but when we had questions they were answered promptly and completely.

Great location close to La Fortuna

Property manager was extremely communicative. Arrived with no problem and found the place easily. Clean and comfortable. Pool was a disappointment as is small, and because of the extreme rainy weather while there, was cloudy and not kept up.... But I don't think anything could have been done about that because of the weather. I think in a normal weather pattern, it would have been fine. The only other wish would have been a table outside. We had chairs to sit in, but no outside table for dining....

Great find! Very happy with it.

This was a great rental for our family of 2 parents and 3 children. It was clean and comfortable. The kitchen had all the little things you need for cooking. The air conditioning was appreciated. Happily surprised there was a dryer in addition to a washing machine! With the rain, the car park came in handy. Lots of bird chirping in the morning. You get a great view of the volanco from the driveway, not so much from inside (due to trees). La Fortuna proper is a little nutty (lots of street and people noise) so we preferred being a short drive away in a much quieter neighborhood. We did walk to a local restaurant for dinner. The pool was just meh - fine but nothing to write home about. Overall, we would absolutely stay here again if visiting La Fortuna.

Nice villa close to everything

We had a nice stay in mid-July. There is plenty of space and the kitchen is nicely equipped. The outdoor space is beautiful! We even found a sloth just a short walk down the main road. It's in a very quiet area and felt incredibly safe. We did not rent a car and had no issues getting affordable transportation into town or to the various sites that we visited. The only issue we had was our first taxi driver from La Fortuna back to the house had problems finding the house based on the address we were giving him. My husband and I weren't getting WiFi so I was unable to pull up the map link that the host provided. We eventually found our way back, but after that, we gave all of our drivers the name of a nearby property that is pinned on Google Maps and they were able to get us back without any issues.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

My family and I were looking for a property where we could vacation surrounded by nature, with a swimming pool nearby, away from the noise of the city but at the same time close to the center and tourist places.

This cabin met these requirements. Little by little we were adding some other comforts and giving it a more welcoming style. We loved the end result, that's why we didn't want to keep this beautiful and quiet place just for ourselves, so we decided to share it with tourists who also want to enjoy a cozy place with all the comforts while enjoying the natural beauties of La Fortuna.
We will soon add electric charger for ecological cars and thus give an option to tourists who seek to reduce their ecological footprint.
