Nature's Lakefront Estate, Private Dock plus 7 BR, 4 BA

Immaculate Lakefront home has amazing views from inside and out, features a large private boat dock, a back yard with a lawn, and a large covered patio with ample seating along with a BBQ. The large and open living room has a great lake view, vaulted ceiling, a flat screen TV, and a 2-story stone fireplace. The long wood dining table seats 8, with two other tables close by plus counter seating. The updated, very large kitchen comes with a an amazing 6 burner gas oven and new stainless steel appliances. There is also a very large game room with Ping Pong table and a separate TV viewing area. The master bedroom is located on the lower level and has a beautiful and large private bathroom. Wonderful Bass Lake lets you enjoy boating, skiing, fishing, swimming, hiking, and bicycling. The home is near the Pines Village at the lake, which provides restaurants, a general market, bars, shops, and a full-service marina with rental boats, jet skis, and kayaks. The small town of Oakhurst is 5 miles away, with shopping, restaurants, bars, a movie cinema, and a live stage theater. Bass Lake is less than 15 miles from the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park. Bass Lake is a reservoir owned by PG&E, so it reaches peak water levels in the summer months and is lowered to 50% during the fall and winter months annually. Because of this summer water levels vary each year depending on the winter season rain and snowfall. Boat docks/boat slip are not in the water year-round. This home has ample parking and garage is open for your use. Pets are not allowed at this vacation home.

Let’s start with what did work: nice large lake house for 10 of us, lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, great sandy beach that extended into the water, the games (pool table, fooseball and ping pong), great dock and shaded porch/patio.What didn’t work: as requested we took off our shoes inside the house on day one unfortunately the floors were quite dirty and everyone’s feet were filthy . We wore shoes after that.. there were no beach chairs so we went into town and bought 6. We took 2 home and left 4 for the next family. The rod iron ones on the patio were too heavy to drag down to the beach. Extra bath towels couldn’t be found so you had to wash them daily if you wanted clean ones. And finally, I wouldn’t recommend renting the lake house in Sept. the Lake drain off had already started and was down about six feet and it made a difference in the exposed sand.

We had an amazing stay at Nature's Estate! We had six adults and seven kids, everyone had excellent accommodations. There was ample parking for our three vehicles and trailers. We had an amazing time paddle boarding, canoeing, wakeboarding, and tubing. The boat slip was very handy. It was excellent having a beach to relax on. The gas BBQ was great to have, we had a few flareups because the grease trap is broken and someone tried to fix that by putting aluminum foil under the burners (might want to find a better fix for that.) All the appliances worked great. We've stayed in other houses at Bass Lake, but we all agreed THIS IS THE ONE. We definitely want to come back next year. Thank you for a wonderful vacation!

Best ever!

I've rented property at Bass Lake for almost 40 years and stayed in at least 20 different cabins. This cabin was by far the best on all counts. Parking at Bass Lake is always an issue, so I was thrilled that this property could easily fit 6 cars, all on flat land, and no stairs to climb to the house! The view is to die for from the time you open the front door and see the lake from an expanse of windows across the width of the home. GORGEOUS! Let's not forget the wow factor opening the front door to the massive great room with 2 living spaces, 2 fireplaces, pool table, dining table, and kitchen with pitched wood ceilings, ceiling fans and canned lighting. The beds were comfortable with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The ramp to the deck and the deck was wonderful and the private beach was a nice surprise. The only suggestions I have ....and they are small insignificant ones....are for more towels and washcloths, coffee filters for the coffee maker (the keurig only had real coffee - I drink decaf), better shampoo and conditioner, a table with an umbrella on the dock, and a gardener to cut the back lawn. Other things to note - there is a second fridge in the garage and both work great. There is a beverage fridge in the bar. All appliances are new and work great. We went up to celebrate Mother's Day, and couldn't have asked for a more spectacular way to spend the day. If it was available I would rent this cabin every year for the rest of my life. This is what our families second time staying at this house. Our host, Terri. was so hospitable and kind. The house was amazing as usual and we cannot wait to go back. We honestly couldn’t be happier with our stay and the accommodations. Definitely a 10 out of 10.

Fantastic Stay for the entire family

Location, lake front views, sandy beach, private dock that accommodated all the toys (2 jet skis, and 2 boats) was the draw. The home is spacious and comfortable, room for groups to hang out and multiple sets of hands in the kitchen. The owner had recently replaced a ping pong table in the sun room to a pool table in the main living area which was a sweet surprise and was utilitized plenty. The extra frig and laundry facilities and provided linens were very much appreciated!! Would definitely recommend.

Room for the whole family!

My husband and I just had our intimate wedding ceremony at the lake estate. The cabin is beautiful and spacious, and offers great household amenities. We had each of our immediate families stay here with us and felt it was plenty of room for us all (18 people in total). Multiple living and seating areas for family conversations, loved the games available and the access to the dock and lakeside was incredible. The host, Terri, has been super communicative throughout the booking process and helping put our minds at ease using the property for our wedding ceremony. It was a weekend we will not forget, at a beautiful property that made our wedding weekend extra special.

Almost perfect!

The size and location of the lake house, were perfect. The house was large & open for our extended family of ten ( a bit dated though). Being right on the lake, and with a dock, was ideal. We informed Terri ( manager) that we had no internet upon our arrival on Sunday. She informed us that service tad spotty there, but she would call it in. Four days later, with no internet, a technician came out, with Terri, and installed a new router. We had to leave a day early due to a forecast of a hurricane coming on the day we were to drive home. The hurricane spanned the majority of the State. When asked for a partial refund due to our premature exit, Terri merely said leaving was our choice
 although she also added it was quite a bad storm there as well.

Superb Get Away!

The Lane Cabin is an amazing retreat for the family to unwind, and have group and individual spaces that were just right! From Fishing, swimming, recreational room games, movie night with family, bbq and cookouts, this place is all we could asked for and more. 12-70 age range in our party and all where very comfortable. Easy access for disabled parents was a blessing with downstairs primary. Thank you hostess Terri for answering all of our questions and making our stay enjoyable!

Spring Family Vacation

This home/property was wonderful. We had 9 adults, (2) 3yr olds, (1) 2yr old , (2) 1 yr olds and a 9mth old:). Yes, somewhat controlled chaos!!! Our children ordered cribs from a local listing they got and had them delivered upon our arrival The house and yards were as pictured on the website. Sunsets amazing! The kitchen was big enough for several of us to prepare meals at the same time. Plenty of hot water, heater worked great and there was a baby gate installed at the top of the stairs,,, genius! The open floor plan allowed for the children to play and the enclosed/glass family room was fabulous for all. I would highly recommend this home. Terri, the owner, responded immediately to my questions! She was terrific! We'll be back!

Fabulous Family Getaway!!

WONDERFUL!! Our whole family had an Amazing time!! Water was low but we were still able to use the dock for our Miller’s boat rental for Friday and Saturday
 With the water low it made a great sandy beach area for the kids to play. There was 16 of us, eight adults and eight kids from seven years old to three months.. They had nice mattresses, Lits of room, and beautifully furnished... and beautifully furnished. The home had a great AC. Had foosball, chess table, and ping-pong which the kids enjoyed. One of the great things about the layout of the house is there is a back patio area with closing doors, which helps keep it quiet.. It has the ping pong table and an additional TV which made it a perfect kids area
 when the doors were shut it is like total sound blocked, we could still watch the kids Because it had huge windows
 Was also great place for the early risers and those with babies lol
 We had a photographer, Courtney with watermelonSugarphotos come out .. She did a fabulous job, it’s not easy with 8 little ones.. Booking had good communication and help from the property manager and owner... We definitely hope to come back again, was a very special family time together with lots of room in this beautiful lake front home...

Beautiful , Large Family Getaway

This was a perfect cabin for our large family. We loved the lake view and all the themed rooms. The whole house is beautiful and cozy. We loved the game room and playing ping pong. We never felt crowed. One recommendation, would be to upgrade the pots and pans. Overall we loved this place. We plan to visit this cabin again.

Bass Lake experience

This listing is exactly as pictured and described. We had 20+ stay here with ages from 75-6 months. It was roomy, comfortable and clean! There is room for 8 cars on property and plenty of room for kids to play inside and out. The waterfront property is fun for watersports and fishing.

Slice of paradise

Our family has been coming to bass lake for 50+ years and over the years we’ve stayed at A LOT of different cabins- this one, is one of our new favorites, for sure! We love the layout of the house, the location and it accommodated our group so well! Including a 3 year old, 4 year old and 2 infants. Very family friendly and The perfect combination of cozy and luxury! The hosts were amazing and always friendly! We hope to spend many more weeks in the years to come, at this little slice of paradise
