Great location!

Great walkable location. Quick walk from train station and surrounded by restaurants, cafes and shops. Fit our groups needs and easy check in and out process.

The property was great! Everything was clean, and in a perfect location near the train station, close to restaurants/bars, and easy to get to the old city. Just like many places in Europe, unfortunately there is no air conditioning, but the property provided 2 fans to make our nights more comfortable. Overall 5/5 place to stay!

Enjoyable stay!

This well appointed, unique property is located in a festive neighborhood within walking distance to the train station. The 4th floor walk up is not for the unfit. Directions regarding location and Instructions for check in and check out were easy to follow!

Cute apartment in old town

If you are over 5’8” be prepared to duck in the stairwells and everyone crouches in the apartment loft. Clean and nice. Lots of restaurants nearby and easy to get to Zurich HB and grocery store.

Great location

Great location right in old historic part of town. The 4 floor walk up (not the end of the world) and lack of AC (tough) during a heat wave was less than ideal, but the write up was clear about that. Neither was a surprise. Wish the living room had an additional chair -- wasn't easy for all 4 of us to hang out there comfortable. But overall, a clean, cute, affordable spot in a lovely location.

Great Old Town Apartment

This is a great apartment that is centrally located in old town Zürich near lots of restaurants and sites. The apartment fit our family of four great. It is in an adorable old building, so be aware there are multiple flights of stairs you must carry your luggage up. We had a car and a parking garage is very close by. It has a washing machine, dishwasher and everything you need for your stay. The communication with the property management was great and they are very responsive. I would definitely recommend this place if you need a centrally located apartment in Zürich.

Family trip to Zurich

This apartment offers a fantastic location, well equipped for a weekend in Zurich, and enough walking space for a family of 4 to spread out. Restaurants and shopping could not be closer and proximity to the train station was outstanding. One thing to note is the very low ceilings. Anyone over 5’10” beware that ducking is required in many places in this apartment. We were prepared for the narrow stair climb to the top floor of the building based on previous reviews but the low ceilings for my very tall husband proved to be a bit of a hurtle.

Great location but....

The apartment was clean and well maintained. Small, but that is called out in the add. The stairs to the fourth floor are very narrow—be careful. The apartment is in a great location in Zurich. The only issue there is it is directly above two very busy/noisy restaurants. It was noisy every night until past midnight. On two occasions it didn’t quiet down until around 3:00am. This wouldn’t be an issue if you could sleep with the windows closed. Because there is no AC the apartment was very hot. Windows open for us was a must. Bring ear plugs and buy a fan and everything will be great.

Too many shortcomings

Fantastic location. We knew that the stairs was going to be a challenge with luggage. Apartment was smaller than we expected from photos. Bathroom small and included toilet which was tricky for a family of four. In my view, the main drawback was the lack of quality. Kitchen not particularly well equipped. Sofa very uncomfortable and needs cushions. Beds not particularly comfortable. Bedding, towels, etc all very basic. For the price we pay, would expect a much higher standard.

Avoid if Tall

The main bedroom in this unit is a converted attic with a VERY low ceiling - so low that if you are over 5 foot six inches tall you will not be able to stand up straight in this room. There are also low hanging beams you may bang your head against in the main living area and a very narrow and low-ceiling stairway (5 flights) leading the the apartment. Good location, though noisy bar patrons will wake you up at 4 AM on weekend nights when the bar downstairs closes. Very clean, good design. No grace notes at all - apt has what you need and nothing more. Would not book this unit again unless nothing else was available.

If You Love Dance Music, Concussions, and Climbing Everest Indoors—Book Now!Let’s start with the one positive: the location is fantastic—just steps from the train station. That’s where the charm ends.To reach the apartment, you’ll conquer four dizzying flights of the tiniest, most claustrophobic spiral staircase imaginable. We had carry-ons and still nearly needed a rescue team. Once inside, you're hit with a heatwave (no A/C—because why would you need that in a Zurich attic during summer?) and a pulsating soundtrack of Eurobeat from the club downstairs. We brought earplugs expecting street noise, but nothing can prepare you for your walls vibrating at 2am like you're sleeping inside a nightclub.Need fresh air? Open a window and inhale waves of cigarette and marijuana smoke—bonus: you'll get a contact high and might think you're having fun at the party you're involuntarily attending.And the “second floor” loft? If you're over 5 feet tall, say goodbye to your posture and hello to potential concussions. It’s less a bedroom, more a booby-trapped crawlspace.If this had been a hotel, we’d have checked out after night one. Run...don’t walk...from this property.

You’re absolutely right—the location is indeed one of the apartment’s strongest features, and many guests value being in the heart of Zurich, just steps from the train station. That central location does come with some lively city energy, which, as you pointed out, can include noise from nearby venues, especially on weekends. The building is a traditional Zurich structure, and as noted in the listing, access involves a few flights of a historic spiral staircase—something to keep in mind for guests with mobility concerns or heavy luggage. The loft area is compact and best suited for shorter stays. We try to make this clear through our photos and description, and we’ll review the listing again to ensure it sets the right expectations. Regarding ventilation, Zurich summers can occasionally be hotter than expected, and while the apartment does not have air conditioning (which is uncommon in Swiss buildings), we do provide fans for guest use. We also regret any discomfort caused by odors from outside; while we can’t control all external factors, we’ll continue exploring solutions to minimize this kind of impact on our guests. Great location and apartment

We really enjoyed the apartment and the location. We did a lot of walking around and the metro/trolley stops were right there for trips farther away (the zoo!). I didn’t realize it was on the fourth floor with no elevator, and we stayed here on the way to skiing so had a lot of bags. But that was only painful for about 10 minutes on the way up.

Convenient and clean

It was very easy to find the property--only a short walk from the train. Even though it was centrally located in the Old Town, it was quiet in the evenings. The ceiling in the loft bedroom was a bit low for our 6'3" grandson, but otherwise the apartment suited us well.

Sehr schöne Wohnung

Tolle gepflegte Wohnung mitten in der Altstadt. Alle interessanten Orte (Sehenswürdigkeiten, Hauptbahnhof, See, Supermarkt usw.) sind problemlos fußläufig erreichbar. Sehr gute Ausstattung und hilfsbereites Personal. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Wonderful location

We had a short but very enjoyable stay in this apartment. The check-in process was a breeze and we were kindly given early check in to coincide with our transfers. The apartment itself is gorgeous, very clean and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Having a washing machine in the apartment was so handy for our group of 5. The location is perfect and was only a short walk to everything we needed. The building doesn't have a lift and the apartment is on the 4th floor up very steep stairs which is only slightly annoying when taking luggage up and down. Apart from then it's not an issue and doesn't take away from the beautiful apartment (I'm quite unfit and I managed just fine lol) . The property managers made everything very easy through detailed emails before our arrival. And we didn't need to contact them with any concerns. I would definitely recommend staying in this apartment.

Amazing place, great location

This apartment is in the heart of Zurich, easy walk to Main train station and anything you need. The apartment has a great set up and utilizes the space wonderfully. We would stay here again on our return!
