As your host, I'll be available from 0800-1900 seven days a week. The preferred method of communication is via the platform but if you have an immediate need you can call me by phone.
Hollywood is a beautiful coastal city with a vibrant character and endless options for recreation. The paved Hollywood Beach Boardwalk, which runs along two-and-a-half miles of coastline, is a great place to walk, jog, cycle, or rollerblade. The Historic Downtown District’s sidewalk cafes, art galleries, bars, restaurants, and dance clubs are popular among locals and visitors alike, and the miles of picturesque coastline is especially attractive to homebuyers looking to call this slice of paradise in Florida home.

The space "The Lion's den was built in 1965. The home is approximately 925 sqft. It has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, living room, dining area, office/lounge area, laundry room, and private backyard. The driveway has enough space for two med-size vehicles (two vehicles max). There is free high-speed WiFi. The living room has comfortable furniture and a Smart TV. The sofa is large enough and comfortable enough to sleep on. The bedrooms come with queen beds. They both have dressers for your clothes. Full closet with shelves and hangers. In the kitchen, there is counter space for cooking. The dining table is set for four guests. The bathroom has laundered towels, hand towels, and face cloths, soap, shampoo. The kitchen is stocked with the basics. There is a grocery store within a few miles where you can purchase anything else you need in the kitchen. There is a refrigerator, freezer, stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, tea kettle, dishwasher, cups, plates, silverware, cutting boards, etc. Please keep in mind that since this is a vacation home, the kitchen only has basic cookware.
NOTE: Pack n play and high chair are available but you must notify us the day prior to check-in that you will need these items.
Guest access Guest has access to the entire house.
Other things to note:
Receiving mail or packages is prohibited and we are not responsible for items that are mailed or shipped to the property.
** We are pet friendly and there's an extra cleaning fee of $50 per pet.
**Max occupancy at all times is 4. No visitors allowed, all guests must be registered.
**Some regular maintenance services are required to keep our homes in excellent shape. Be informed that we have regular landscaping service and pest control management, that may come during your stay.

We use an integrated software that will give you access to our Guest Portal at PMI Premium Services. It will send you messages with instructions and guiding through a screening process and contract which are required to release check in instructions. In order to ensure a worry-free stay. We have two options. One is a $500 refundable deposit or $49 non-refundable damage waiver. The deposit will be returned if no damages or violations (such as smoking) are found during your stay and the waiver will cover damages up to $500.00.

The property was as described it was in a good neighborhood. The only issue we had was not sure if they had just fumigated the house but we found dead roaches throughout the home. The AC unit was also not consistent, we could never keep the home at a consistent temperature. Overall it was okay but I do leave honest reviews as I rely on them myself heavily when choosing where to stay. If these two items were corrected it would be a five star review.

Very disappointed because I rented a place that was pet friendly. Singlar house so no noise for neighbors but come to find out the noise level is measured inside, not outside. When we left the property there was no nussiance to anyone in the surrounding area. So while trying to attend a celebration of life for a loss of a family member I get multiple text and email notifications that if I don’t comply with the ordinance we’ll be kicked out. So I complied and returned to the property so my husband could spend time with the family. Then the days following, we wanted to continue to spend time with our grieving loved ones and ask permission to leave the property without repercussions and again informed of the noise ordinance that would violate our contract and cause us to need to vacate the property and have to pay for my full booked stay. Also upon entering the property for the first time there were multiple issues with the property and of course I wanted to document it immediately so I did not get charged some bogus damage charges. I sent them immediately to the property management company. I’m completely dissatisfied with my experience and I am hopeful with asking the right questions I might have a better outcome next time

Location was good, easy access to where we wanted to go. Decent neighborhood, nice and quiet.
The property appeared much larger on the website. We were disappointed in the small rooms.
Check-in was confusing. I had asked about early check-in and then I received the information that for each hour of early check in there would be an additional $75 per hour fee. When I didn't respond of showed interest, I kept getting dinged on the subject. When we arrived in Miami/Ft Lauderdale, at 2:00 we received the access code for the property, so we headed in that general direction. only to find out that we still could not check in until 4:00. Why send the code if it can't be used for 2 hours. This was VERY FRUSTRATING.
Once checked in, I was unable to access the internet from the directions of DACK. So I called the property manager asking what the security code was, because my computer asked for one --he told me I was doing it WRONG! and that I should follow the instructions on DACK.. The instructions on DACK are WRONG! Fortunately, in the unit were the correct instructions and the next day I was able to log on. another FRUSTRATING point.
This was the most frustrating and unpleasant vacation I have experienced with VRBO.

Good Safe Place to Stay at a Good Price
I want to be clear that my wife and I were happy with this rental and would certainly recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in s the area. I will mention a few things below that could use some attention. I include these only so the owner can strive to make it an even better expierence for their guests.
We were getting work done on our boat and stayed here for 2 weeks. We have only been in a few VRBOs so the process is new to us. I found check-in just a tad confusing because I was getting messages from VRBO and the property management company and some were duplicative requests for documents. However, I must say the management company rep was outstanding at helping me through the process and communicating throughout our stay. They even came out on a weekend to replace the front porch lightbuld that burned out. The exterminator made a visit and the management company notified me the day before (as a side note, never saw any bugs before or after his visit).
The house is a little rough around the edges if you look closely, but the neighborhood is in a state of revival and we felt very safe there. We had our old dog with us and met several of the neighbors while taking him our and while just walking for excersice.
The house has a nice fenced back yard that is gravel. We used the gas grill out there a lot. We also loved having a washer and dryer in the house as we had a lot of backed up laundry to do from the boat.
The location was great for us. We only had a rental car for a few days of our stay, but Ubers to most anywhere were cheap. We walked to several stores that were about 1.5 miles away. There is a Super Walmart 3 miles away, but we Ubered there. When we had a car we were close to major highways and surface streets (yes, you hear a bit of traffic noise if outside).
Now for the things I would suggest to the owner to push this from a 4 to a 5 star rating:
Tighten up your cleaning crews. The floor left our white socks dirty and there was hair in the tub drain.
Leave more consumable supplies out for long stays, e.g. paper towles, toilet tissue, dishsoap, etc.
Put a cloth mattress pad over the plastic matress enclosures. Without it you feel hot and sticky. Love that you have the enclosure bags though!
Once again, were were happy here and would recommend it without hesitation.
