Weekly and monthly discounts! *Heated Pool*, free parking and rated 10 out of 10 by Guests: 1951 charm meets the 2020s - welcome to Sherman Oaks, California. Updated and redecorated, this ultra-clean, private home sleeps 6 comfortably. Great for relaxing and sunning with pool, big patio table & chaise loungers. Super comfy beds with fluffy comforters & plenty of soft towels in the baths. Gourmet kitchen: WOLF range, specialty cooking tools, lots of pots and pans, and a coffee station too. Enjoy the peaceful environment while being close to all the fun stuff L.A. has to offer. Early check-in often OK; just text me. SoFi Stadium is approximately 21m or 34km from Andy's VRBO.

NOTE: Home is 2 main streets from trendy Ventura Blvd and very freeway on/offramp close - compare to other listings that are further north... being south is preferable in this neighborhood.

King bed in front master, Queen bed in pool-view back, and Queen Plus in convertible den (American Leather Sleeper Sofa with no bar in the middle) with privacy doors.

Great local neighborhood for walking. There are also beautiful hiking trails nearby in the Santa Monica Mountains. If you're traveling without a car and need to get somewhere fast, I'm usually available for a quick shuttle service!! If you do have a car, there's plenty of parking. Check Metro.net for public transportation.

As noted in other sections of this listing: I LIVE ON THE PROPERTY IN A SEPARATE/PRIVATE GUEST UNIT IN THE BACK THAT IS ACCESSED VIA THE DRIVEWAY (the driveway runs along the side of the dining room and kitchen windows). The entire house, pool and backyard are all yours; the back half of the driveway and my house are gated and fenced for privacy for both of us.

Los Angeles has Vacation Rental rules which are posted at the home. No parties and no outdoor noise after 8pm. This is a quiet neighborhood.
While completely harmless, the elderly neighbor to my south is NOT welcome in this home. Plz text if you're concerned; it's actually rather amusing!
I only need access to backyard to water plants (will always notify you first!). Pool man comes on Thurs mornings. Gardener comes on Fri afternoons.

This by far was the best experience my wife and I have ever had where we need to rent a home! Andy has thought of every little detail! We could not have been any happier! The home is in a very quiet little subdivision in Sherman Oaks and convenient to everything you would need. If you’re not from the area, Andy is there to help you find what you need! Andy was an incredible host, from checking in with us before we got there to find out what we needed to anticipating what we needed after we got there. I came for a surgery so we spent all our time recovering at this beautiful house. The neighborhood is charming and you couldn’t possibly want anything more. The back yard and pool are an oasis of relaxation. There is a Whole Foods literally right down the street so you can get food and the stove is something a master chef could appreciate! We loved staying at this house and will definitely stay here again when we find ourselves in this area!

Great place, great location, great owner!!

Our family of 6 stayed for 4 days for the Rose Bowl. The house had everything we needed, was very clean, in an ideal location to conveniently access downtown LA, Pasadena, and other tourist attractions (Hollywood, Beverly Hills, the beach, etc.), and our experience with the owner was wonderful! If we ever come to Southern California again we would definitely stay here!

Home Away From Home

This was our second stay at this gorgeous property. The host, Andy, has provided everything I could think of to feel at home. The house feels cozy and safe and is great for family dinners and pool days. We are already looking forward to coming back again.

Perfect LA Bungalow

Andy, our landlord, did an incredible job creating a warm, well-equipped, very attractive 2-bedroom, 2-bath bungalow even providing a book about the builder of this of this charming 1951 house. Located conveniently near to grocery stores, restaurants and freeways. The neighborhood was very quiet.Andy was speedy in texting answers to our questions And offering helpful suggestions It was a wonderful relaxing vacation thanks to our stay.

Cozy home with everything you need!

We are a local family of 4 who needed to relocate for a few days during filming in our home. This property was perfect! It was so cute, cozy, clean, comfortable and in the most convenient location! Born and raised in Los Angeles, my parents and I moved into this home when I was 12 years old (I won't tell the year... just yet). Realtor by trade, I have found my niche in hosting this vacation rental - I love it. I'm a dog-dad to a 9-year-old American Bully rescue named, Trisha (after singer Trisha Yearwood). She and I live in a completely separate, back-house down the driveway, past the kitchen window that is separated by full privacy fencing and heavy-duty gates. While out of your way, I'm always available to help with mapping and anything else you might need to find your way around town (also found a super viewing point for the HOLLYWOOD Sign).

Well-established, quiet neighborhood in Sherman Oaks. Close to Westfield's Fashion Square Mall for shopping, and trendy Ventura Boulevard for dining. Food shopping close too at Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Gelson's and Ralph's Markets. Starbucks is just up the street, two blocks away.

The Space:

It can get hot in L.A. so in addition to the central cooling system, there are portable fans in the closets of each bedroom. 5 total TVs with one in each bedroom, one in bath and one in kitchen: DISH TV - America's Top 200 w/ 240 channels. Spectrum High-Speed internet included. Full-size washer and dryer in back porch off of kitchen. Both bathrooms have oversized stall showers with tub in master. Speaker system in den for watching movies, plus speakers in master bath, master bedroom, living room and patio to push music through the whole house and outside. Most light switches are on dimmers (and only 3 pesky LED lights in the house) to set the mood and tone you want: the home looks beautiful at night, especially with the custom patio lighting and malibu-lights around the heated pool.
