This updated mid-century modern Trousdale architectural house is located on a quiet street just a few minutes from downtown Palm Springs. We set it up to be very family friendly with our own young kids in mind. There is a childproof fence around the pool so you can actually relax on your vacation! In addition to the pool & jacuzzi, your kids will love the playhouse outside & bonus area playroom just off the kitchen! Stretch out in the very spacious yard that wraps around the house.

The space
One level mid century modern home with a spacious and very comfortable floorplan. Enter into the large living room with built in book shelf and office nook. To the left you’ll find the huge dining room (seats 10) with matching kids table. The living room and dining area are framed with tall windows facing the wonderful yard. Inside, the dining room leads to the kitchen and then the bonus area playroom/den (with a convertible sofa bed) and full size brand new laundry. The bedroom wing is located on the opposite side of the living room. The master bedroom has a cal king bed, direct access to the yard and en suite bathroom with separate shower and bathtub. Directly across the hall is the “pink room” which is perfect for kids or two adults, with 2 twin beds. The third bedroom has a queen bed and en suite bathroom with a shower and direct access to the side yard - a short cut to the jacuzzi and outdoor shower. There’s a hall bathroom that services guests and the “pink room” which has a shower/bath combo. The yard is a mini paradise with another large dining table (seats 10), lounge area, BBQ, kids playhouse, grassy yard, yoga/workout area and of course the over sized pool (with Mountain View’s) and above ground jacuzzi. There are lots of seating areas set up around the yard and 4 lounge chairs to relax by the pool. Pearliesjoyhouse taps into everything we all love about Palm Springs! Relaxing, Mountain View’s, swimming and mid century modern architecture.

We’ve designed this house with our own family and young kids in mind. We hope you enjoy it and have a nice relaxing and fun filled vacation!

For bookings reserved November 14, 2021 and after, pool/spa can be pre-heated at a cost of $60/night or $260/week. Otherwise, pool will not be heated.
