Escape to this newly renovated (Summer 2026) 3-bedroom A-frame chalet in the highly desirable Chalet Village community of Gatlinburg. Surrounded by the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains, this spacious mountain retreat offers the perfect combination of privacy, comfort, and convenience—just 10 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg, with easy access to Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, Ober Mountain, and Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Relax on the expansive two-level deck, where you'll find a private hot tub and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the peaceful mountain setting. The lower deck also features a one-of-a-kind custom mural painted by a local Gatlinburg artist, adding a unique touch to your stay.

One of the biggest highlights of this property is its incredible wildlife viewing. Bears are frequent visitors to this area, and guests often see them every day during their stay. Whether you're enjoying your morning coffee on the deck or unwinding in the hot tub after a day of exploring, you may be treated to the unforgettable sight of a black bear and her cubs or other local wildlife passing by. It's a true Smoky Mountain experience! For everyone's safety, please enjoy wildlife from a distance, never feed the bears, and keep all food and trash securely stored.

Designed for families and groups, the chalet spans three levels, giving everyone room to spread out while still providing inviting spaces to gather. The cozy family room is perfect for movie nights, arcade games, or relaxing after a day of hiking, sightseeing, or exploring the Smokies.

Sleeping Arrangements:

Lower Level: Two bedrooms, including one bedroom with a king bed and one bedroom with a queen bed plus a bunk bed.
Upper Loft Level: Private enclosed bedroom with a queen bed, plus a sleeper sofa in the loft living area for additional guests.

Whether you're planning a family vacation, couples' getaway, or friends' retreat, this Chalet Village cabin offers everything you need for a memorable Smoky Mountain escape. From breathtaking mountain scenery and exceptional wildlife viewing to easy access to Gatlinburg's best attractions, this chalet is the perfect place to experience the Smokies.

Our guests also have free access to the Chalet Village club houses. The one closest to us is only about 5 min drive, featuring a seasonal swimming pool as well as a gym and other amenities.

Property is spacious, kitchen has everything you need, beds were very comfortable. Hot tub was great! Owner was very responsive to my texts. We did see a. Bear and 3 cubs one morning.

We very much enjoyed the stay and the peaceful surroundings. We had hoped for a better view, but it was so quiet and peaceful that we didn't miss it much. We were so excited when a bear visited and a little unnerved when it went next door and got into the neighbor's car (they really can open unlocked doors!) Fortunately, there was no damage - just a good amount of excitement. The location was close to local attractions. The accommodations were comfortable and spacious. The host was very responsive. Great experience!

The host was very available and quick to respond! Our first night we reported a stained sheet and hair in a bed and a critter had left droppings on another bed. The host had the cleaning company deliver us clean sheets, cases, and blanket at midnight. The cabin stayed very cool which we loved and there was plenty of room. Nice getaway! I bet there is a view when the leaves are gone.

Beautiful chalet! We loved our stay. Our only disappointment was the lack of a view, which is shown in the hot tub picture. But it just might be over grown with the start of the summer season.

We absolutely enjoyed everything about our stay. Home was clean and smelled great upon arrival. The beds were really comfortable and clean. View is amazing from the hot tub. Host was very responsive and accommodating. Our 3 children had an absolute blast. Would definitely recommend this cabin for anyone looking to be close to Gatlinburg strip but still on top of the mountain.

We enjoyed the peaceful location and the opportunity for relaxation. Bears everyday for sure! We had space to hang out together and space for individual time. The house was clean and the deck space was expansive. Kitchen was what we needed to feed our group and the appliances were in good shape, very clean. The only downside was beds had been arranged in three bedrooms, instead of four (possibly while new floor was being done), but all beds accounted for as listed. Host was reachable and very responsive to questions.

We had a great time here. Tucked away at the very top of a mountain-we saw bears around the house everyday we were here. Kids loved it. Hot tub, pool table and arcade made it a great place to stay with a 12 and 14 year old. Close to attractions!

The chalet was lovely. Our family was very comfortable there. There was a lot to enjoy-beautiful scenery, a pool table, a hot tub, and games. The kithchen was well stocked, and the decor was beautiful. The owner was very responsive and knowledgable about the area. It was also close to all of the fun activities and the National Park. We enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful chalet

We had a great time staying in this chalet. Irene quickly responded and resolved our needs. We saw many bears (9 in 1 day) and enjoyed all the amenities that were available. It was worth the reservation and helped make our vacation restful.

Serene, clean, great family set up

This has been our favorite place we’ve stayed in the Gatlinburg area- it is up higher in the mountains and we saw several bears and felt more secluded. Our kids loved the bunk bed and arcade, and the hot tub was clean and had a beautiful view. The host was very responsive and helpful. Our kids didn’t want to leave!

Perfect mountain getaway!

Excellent place for our family! Kids and adults all loved it! It was in good condition, clean, and as advertised. We had a few minor issues that we got very quick responses and resolutions for. Highly recommend and would stay here again.
