Livin’ on Laketime, a four season Lakeshore home with 1,800 sq ft. sleeps 12 people comfortably. The large deck overlooks incredible views of Lake Ida with steps down to the dock. Great winter and summer activities. Enjoy the lake all year!!
Looking for a family getaway, this is the place. The downstairs family room has 3 built in bunk beds, in addition to 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and a well equipped kitchen. The heated garage is a great place for family competitions of ping pong and carpet ball. Plenty of rooms for quiet time, games, movie nights, and great conversations. Relax in the sauna with beautiful views of the lake.

This place has an amazing view! Its a great place to stay if you have a large group of people-- tons of space & bunk beds! The large deck could use a little work on the railing, but overall worked well. It needs a new railing on the back door step, too. The house is very clean and spacious otherwise & we enjoyed the sauna, too!

The property was as pictured and very roomy! The owner was feat with communication and an needs we had! Great amenities and everyone loved the paddle boards! Great doc with lots of fish for viewing and a beach a short boat ride away! Would absolutely recommend this property!

Lovin the lake life!

Our family was very happy with the house....plenty of room to spread out, play games and work puzzles while it was raining. The view of and access to the lake were great. Canoeing and floating on the "lily pad" were favorite outdoor activities. The sauna was nice, but due to the hot weather, wasn't used up to its potential. Enjoyed sitting around the campfire and making smores. The beds were comfy, kitchen stocked with necessary cooking utensils for meal preparations and the additional refrigerator was great for beverages and ice. Awesome place. Would highly recommend a stay here!

We had a pleasant stay. Deck size was very nice. Everyone enjoyed the sauna.

The view of the lake was excellent. There were several safety concerns with the property. The iron rail at the entrance was very loose. If anyone were to lean against it they would fall. The steps to the deck are uneven. Two of our family fell. The bathtub needs a non skid mat. The soap scum settles at the back of the tub and does not drain. We all avoided showers after realizing the risk of slipping. Property needs general maintenance. Umbrella for table was broken and could not be used.

Quiet and Peaceful lake home

The view is amazing! Great place for adults to hangout and enjoy each others company. The smoker was a game changer, we made the best ribs anyone’s ever had. Be sure to come with your own firewood. Lots of sleeping options and if traveling with kids they will LOVE the bunk beds. One thing to mention is the lake/dock area was extremely weedy when we were there (July) so swimming off the dock was almost impossible even with the provided lily pad. Great spot for adults tho!

Misleading Lake Cabin

We paid a premium weekend rate for a weekend at this property. Be advised, the photos are very carefully taken and cropped to hide that this cabin is a fixer upper in progress. The trash was overflowing when we arrived. The bathrooms are in poor condition, one tub had standing water filled with dead bugs. The lawn had not been mowed for weeks with foot tall thistle in the yard. There was trash outside the property in the flowerbeds. The deck and stairs to the beach are in disrepair and unsteady. We cleaned up dried spaghetti off the deck floor and table so we could eat. One burner on the stove didn’t work. We rented this cabin to be on a lake, and it turns out the sandy lake bottom you expect does not exist here. My family was not comfortable walking directly into deep weeds and being unable to see the lake bottom just two feet from shore. These are not sparse weeds; these weeds were so dense, the sand and your feet were not visible and they were tall. The dock would have been enjoyable had we not had to overlook the pontoon in a state of total disrepair with tools strewn everywhere. The owners have made several cosmetic updates, and ultimately, I think this will become a decent property. But until all the updates are done, I would not recommend staying here. If you are looking for a lake place for a family getaway in Alexandria, this is not it. If you are considering a stay here for any price greater than $150 per night, call a local hotel with a pool instead.

Family Visit

We were in town for a family function. The home was perfect for our needs. Very clean and comfortable. Right on the lake with lovely views of the sunrise. We would definitely come back again!

Peaceful Lake family and fun time

We felt totally comfortable at this property as soon as we got settled. The views daytime and night-time were spectacular. The quiet was amazing, the stars were plentiful. We spent most time outside and there were many nooks inside the house for our party to have personal downtime. The fishing off the dock was plentiful, and entertained children and adults equally. The entire family had an awesome time and we have many great memories.

Lovely Lakeside House

Our family had a wonderful stay at this house. We all fit with plenty of room so spread out. The deck was large and had a great view of the lake. The kitchen had everything you could want in terms of cooking equipment. The beds were comfortable and the kids loved the bunk beds and the playroom with a TV. The fishermen in the group had fun fishing. I would definitely recommend this house for a family get-together.
