Modern Vacation Home With A/C & Screened In Gazebo Close To National Park Beach

Come and relax in this beautiful, private, modern cottage in the highly desired tourist area of Brackley Beach. Within walking distance is The Dunes Studio & Café offering fresh local seafood, a studio featuring Canadian crafts, art from local artisans, and a beautiful garden, which was featured in ‘East Coast Gardener Magazine’.

This cottage allows you to comfortably relax both inside and outside. This home was built with vacation on the mind. Each room has large picturesque windows, which allow the sunlight to naturally fill the house, and provides you with views of the surrounding nature through a beautifully landscaped lawn. Outside, there are large wrap around decks and a screened in gazebo with comfortable outdoor furniture to relax and wind down after a day of exploring.

Brackley Beach Retreat has three bedrooms, one with a king bed, one with a queen bed, and one with a double bed (in an outdoor bunk room that is not attached to the house, only a few steps away. No bathroom in the bunk room) sleeping up to 6 guests. There are also two full bathrooms. The main living area is open concept with a high-end kitchen equipped with granite and stainless steel countertops, custom cabinetry, and stainless steel appliances. The kitchen opens up to a seating area for 6, plus a couple of extra seats at the kitchen island, and a living room with a large sectional couch, a propane fireplace, and entertainment unit. Stay comfortable on hot summer days with air conditioning that goes throughout the home. A/C in bunk room.

Beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels are provided.

Various board games outdoor games and puzzles available.

Pets are permitted after signing a pet waiver.

This reservation has a Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 30 days prior to the check in date.

A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 30 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 14 to 29 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 14 days prior to check-in. CanadaStays Booking Fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request.

Our house rules: primary renter must be 25 or older, no smoking, no parties or events, pets permitted.

Summer beach holiday

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in PEI and were quite happy with our accommodations. Kathy was a pleasure to deal with, always quick to respond to messages, and made herself readily available should we need any assistance. The house was impeccably clean and well equipped. We had everything we needed to make ourselves comfortable and truly get the most out of our vacation. We appreciated the availability of the parks pass and made very good use of it as we explored the island. Kathy’s attention to detail in making sure her guests feel welcome and cared for was second to none.

Great Place to Stay

This is a beautiful house (I have rented 10 times in Canada and this house was the nicest) in a quiet location. Easy ride to the beach, Cavendish, Charlottetown and other attractions. It has lots of room and outstanding outdoor areas. Managers are terrific people, both pleasant and very helpful.

Great place - modern and clean

Check in was easy. Host was helpful with any questions / concerns - which weren’t many. This is the best outfitted VRBO we have been to. Kathy had everything we could have needed and a lot of little extra touches that put her over and above most stays we have had at other homes. I would have no problem recommending this stay to anyone.

Beautiful Home

A wonderful spacious home with everything you will need! Beach towels, beach chairs, outdoor fire pit, beautiful gardens, a bunny would visit everyday!!!! The home is spacious and a fantastic location to everything. The Provincial Park Pass was a bonus, the beautiful card and gifts left by Kathy and Jeff was so thoughtful. We hope to visit again. Definitely a 5 star home and hosts!!!

Luxury in PEI

Beautiful home in a great location with all the conveniences you would expect in modern luxury. Our friendly hostess Kathy was always nearby to look after our needs. Close to the national park with lovely beaches. Near North Rustico and Cavendish and only a short drive to the capital Charlottetown. All this made for a memorable visit to PEI.

Wonderful!

This house has everything you need for an excellent vacation: backyard with fire pit, patio with comfy recliners and a screened in gazebo to stay bug free and enjoy the sunset. Lawn games, beach chairs, umbrellas, a high chair, a pack and play, big fluffly blankets to curl up under, you name it and this house has it. Such a comfy spot and so close to the wonderful PEI beaches. We had such a great time!

Highly recommended

A modern, spacious, fully-equipped house in a private location just a few minutes from Brackley Beach and The Dunes. It was extremely hot and humid during our stay but the heat pumps kept us cool. We appreciated the ample supply of beach towels, beach chairs and a pass to the National Park. Most of our time was spent at the beach so we didn't use the firepit or gazebo. Over the past 20 years we have rented cottages or houses for an annual family gathering and this place is the best!

Great location Perfect Hosts. Comfortable and well equipped.

We loved our stay in this immaculate home. There is space for privacy and group gathering. Ample parking. Private location. Beach supplies. Great Kitchen. All the comforts of home. We loved the proximity to Brackley Beach. Great dining options nearby. It’s centrally located Close enough to Charlottetown if you need to. But we came for the beaches and seafood and lovely day trips Kathy was greatl very responsive. We will be back!

Excellent Brackley Beach retreat/vacation home

From the moment we booked our stay the homeowner was in contact with us offering to do anything needed to ensure that we had everything we would need for our 1week stay. When we entered the home our jaws dropped in awe actually seeing everything we had viewed in the write up. The kitchen was awesome, the bed was large and comfortable and the couch in the living room was so nice we are looking to buy a similar one once we get back home. I truly believe that we will do everything possible to return to this lovely home in the next couple of years!

Perfect PEI retreat

My husband and I are veterans to the island, but this time brought my parents and our dogs along. Kathy and Jeff’s home was the perfect spot! Beautiful, clean, spacious and comfortable. They thought of everything and you truly have everything you need while there. The grounds themselves are also impeccably maintained. In the backyard, you feel secluded and perfectly zen. Communicating with Kathy was great. She often checked in to make sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to help me find some local treasures. Would definitely stay here again! Our doggies appreciated the stay too :)

Wonderful retreat!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home in Brackley Beach. It is NOT your average “ cottage” that you might expect in PEI…. It is a well kept, spacious home with lots of room to spread out. Loved that it was pet friendly. Our pup loved roaming around in the backyard. We really enjoyed the backyard fire pit, the lawn games and all the beach chairs/ towels that were available for us as guests. Bug zapper on the deck is a definite bonus as it did cut down on the bugs at nighttime! Wonderful space, conveniently located, a bit of road noise from the main road next door, but you get used to it! Highly recommend!

Ideal Island Retreat

We enjoyed our visit to P.E.I, and Emily Lane. Perfect location for discovering the island on our first ever visit to Nova Scotia. Kathy and Jeff were accommodating to us in every way. Their home is truly a home away from home. The beach is just a short ride away and it was nice to have a pass at the house waiting for us. We absolutely loved Cafe at the Dunes. It was a great recommendation for food and atmosphere. The gardens were so beautiful and framed by the sea. We were able to meet locals at the P.E.I. Feast and frolic event, they were so welcoming and the oysters, crabcakes and seafood chowder were all delicious. We had a difficult time saving room for the lobster and steak dinner that followed. It was a 5 star event, orchestrated by the P.E.I. Community. We were very blessed to have discovered this very special retreat and Island.

Beautiful home, great location, awesome host!

We arrived to a very clean, well stocked home with a special welcome gift from the host, Kathy. She was fabulous, attentive and reachable at a moments notice. When we advised we might be late, she offered to turn the lights on and get us some essentials for the morning. It was a lovely gesture on her part which we truly appreciated! The house is better than stated with lots of room to spread out. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are great. All the appliances are upscale including the brand new laundry set and the kitchen has many small appliances that make the stay feel like home. The couch was a hit with the entire family as it was super comfortable and big enough for us aĺl. There is ample space outdoors to relax and enjoy the sunsets with a few games supplied that we used daily. The bunkie is cute and feels like an adventure, but it might not be to everyones liking as it does feel a bit outdoorsy. The area is fantastic to tour and has many quaint shops and restaurants. We loved every meal we had, so delicious! You can get anywhere on the island from here and it is not a far distance to go. We highly recommend this property and the host, we will be returning in future as it was exactly what we wanted and more!

Maison de rêve pour séjour sans soucis.

Mes amis et moi avons vraiment apprécié cette maison moderne, bien équipée et décorée avec soin. Toutes les pièces de la maison ainsi que les espaces extérieurs étaient pensés afin que les vacanciers puissent profiter de tout avec facilité et bonheur. L’hôte était disponible pour répondre à nos questions avec rapidité et gentillesse.

Mauvaise expérience a Brackley Beach

Premièrement, c'est annoncé comme un maison avec 3 chambres alors qu'il n'y a que deux chambres dans la maison. La troisième chambre est dans le débarras (shed) sans salle de bain et a côté de la route, bruit des autos très fort le soir jusqu'à 23:00 heures et le matin a partir de 6:00 heures. Une télévision ne fonctionnait pas et un des foyer intérieur ne fonctionnait pas. Le code d'accès a la maison ne fonctionnait pas toujours.

A Perfect Accommodation!

The house is spacious, well-appointed, set in lovely front and back gardens. It has everything one would need, and lots of little extra niceties. Its location is ideal for exploring the interior and the coasts. There were terrific trails for running, hiking, and walking nearby. We enjoyed the Shellfish Festival and the restaurants very much - especially The Dunes, Blue Mussel, and Claddagh Oyster House. We also went to the play Telltale Harbour. Our host, Kathy, was wonderfully helpful - with excellent suggestions and local knowledge. Thank you very much, Kathy!

Beautiful Stay!

We stayed for two weeks at this lovely property. The home was clean, well appointed and the location private with beautiful gardens. The owner could not have been more accommodating. Communication and check ins to see how we were doing made us feel very welcome. Only a couple of minute drive to Brackley beach where many enjoyable afternoons were spent.
