Paradise Found

My family of six adults and an infant comfortably stayed in this beautiful villa on Duck Key. We brought two smaller boats which fit perfectly in the boat slip directly behind the villa. We were able to quickly navigate through the channels out to the ocean. We rented space at the marina for our boat trailers during our length of stay. The Duck Key marina had gas, bait, and ice to get us ready for fishing each day. There are two restaurants on site. We ate at Angler & Ale (because I always wanted to try it), and it was very good but pricey. We ate lunch and dinner at other restaurants nearby in Islamorada and Marathon (less expensive). The air conditioning worked great. The villa was clean. The location is perfect. We found paradise. Hated to leave. We’ve stayed many times in Duck Key villas over the years, but this was our first time in this particular one. I’m so happy we found this one. We will stay here again for sure.

Duck Key

Great location, but I it needs some TLC, don't know of this is truely a 3 bedroom. Bedroom by kitchen has no drawers or closets it was difficult to maneuver in there. Are is great but could not use amenities with this rental. Host very responsive

Convenience

Our business had a job on Duck Key. It was convenient to be located near the two job sites. The townhouse was exactly as described and perfect for the number of people. The host was extremely accessible and responded in a timely manner.

wouldn’t do it again😕

Upon arrival, we found two cockroaches (one dead, one alive)
that was within the first 10 minutes being inside the house. During our four-day stay, we found seven more live cockroaches; in the towels, under the chairs, crawling up the walls!! There is ZERO regulating the people who stay in the Hawks Cay Rentals. Someone was docked in OUR boat slip the ENTIRE weekend, so we couldn’t use it. The music level on some of the docked boats was deafening. The people staying in other rentals were very loud
 into the early morning hours. It was ok. Wouldn’t do it again. We are returning to the keys in four weeks

Location was great

The location was fantastic however they must have renovated because the floors are not the same as the pictures. We struggled with some of the appliances not working properly and the guest bathroom toilet constantly ran. Also, the townhouse really needs a good clean. The stairs were very dirty. You can tell it’s a rental house. The boat slip that comes included is extremely convenient. Overall we would stay here again solely because of the location and the boat slip.

3rd Time Was Not A Charm

Arrived to an uncleaned, filthy location. And the AC was not working. Had to cut my chartered fishing trip short to move to another location due to this major inconvenience. Looked forward to this trip with great anticipation, definitely disappointed and stressed out on vacation!

A gorgeous getaway

It was a wonderful vacation for my children’s Graduation celebration. It was extremely spacious, with plenty of sleeping space and 2 fabulous outdoor decks, one upstairs and one downstairs. I would definitely recommend it. The only recommendation I have is that the kitchen could have had a few more pans for baking, as well as some potholders (very tricky without potholders) A few dish towel’s would have been appreciated, as well. But small inconveniences in an otherwise perfect place.

Amazing location!

The owner was so easy to communicate with and there was a welcome basket in the kitchen for our arrival. Bathrooms were well stocked with anything you might have forgotten. The location was amazing, especially if you have a boat. The listing is listed as 4 bedrooms, but the living room was considered a bedroom, since there was a pull out couch. Would definitely return to this location.
