Pet-Friendly Yard | Suite 17B | Medical Transition Housing Near Anschutz | Children's Hospital Colorado | Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center
Medical-Priority Placement Philosophy
Medical travelers, caregivers, and healthcare-related stays receive first placement priority. When availability permits, we also welcome carefully screened extended-stay guests who value the same quiet, smoke-free residential environment.
We don't simply match guests to available housing—we match guests to an environment they'll help preserve.
Every reservation is individually reviewed, and every guest—regardless of the purpose of their stay—is expected to uphold the same community standards.

Core Value Drivers: Comfort, Companionship & Everyday Stability
Stability During a Difficult Season
Medical transitions and other major life events rarely follow predictable timelines. Suite 17B is designed as a stable residential home base for extended stays, providing privacy, consistency, and scheduling flexibility during treatment, professional assignments, relocation, and other major life transitions.
A Natural Break from Daily Demands
Whether navigating treatment, supporting a loved one, working on assignment, or managing another major life transition, extended stays can make life feel consumed by schedules and responsibilities. This suite provides a peaceful residential setting where guests can enjoy mature trees, fresh air, seasonal wildlife, and a quieter neighborhood rhythm that encourages decompression between demanding days.
Healing Without Separation
For many people, home includes a beloved companion animal. Welcoming approved dogs and cats helps preserve familiar routines, emotional continuity, and everyday comfort during treatment, relocation, professional assignments, and other major life transitions.
A Humanized Alternative to Temporary Housing
Rooted in authentic Kenyan hospitality, Suite 17B is designed to feel warm, welcoming, and lived-in, helping guests feel settled and at home throughout an extended stay.
How Suite 17B Supports Everyday Living
Comfort That Works Quietly in the Background
Recovery, caregiving, demanding work schedules, and major life transitions are easier when your surroundings reduce unnecessary friction. Quiet hydronic radiant heat, flexible light management, cooling options, and continuous HEPA air filtration help create a calm residential environment that supports rest, focus, and everyday comfort.
Preserving Personal Independence
Extended stays should not require sacrificing normal routines. A private in-unit washer and dryer, full kitchen with full-sized appliances, attached private garage, and direct indoor access help simplify daily living while preserving privacy and independence.
Staying Connected to What Matters
Whether managing telehealth appointments, coordinating care, working remotely, or providing important family updates, reliable connectivity is an essential part of everyday stability. When the day is finally over, the wall-mounted 65-inch Smart TV provides a comfortable way to relax, reconnect with loved ones, or simply unwind before tomorrow.
Rest That Adapts to You
Sleeping arrangements can be adapted to support individual comfort preferences, recovery needs, and practical extended-stay living.
Everyday Function Without Added Friction
The attached garage and direct indoor access reduce exposure to weather while simplifying arrivals, departures, grocery trips, and everyday routines. The traditional tub/shower combination supports everyday living while allowing guests to maintain familiar household routines throughout longer stays.

📋 Booking Requirements
To help provide a safe, verified, and low-friction booking experience, the following requirements apply to all reservations:

• Travel Insurance: Travel Interruption/Cancellation Protection covering the full reservation period is required for all reservations. Travelers are asked to provide proof of coverage before arrival.
• Security Hold: A temporary electronic incidental authorization hold is required prior to arrival. Standard: $500 or $750 with approved pets (Suite 17B or Suite 35B). Note: This is an authorization hold only—not an upfront cash deposit. American Express (AMEX) is not accepted for security holds.

COMMUNITY STANDARDS + POLICIES
Housing Model
Kenyan Furnished Rentals provides private Medical Transition Housing only. We do not provide medical treatment, nursing care, caregiving, supervision, transportation, or other clinical services. Guests remain responsible for arranging any caregiver or medical support recommended by their healthcare team.
Accessibility & Placement Considerations
• Suitability Verification: Because every recovery journey is unique, we do not evaluate or guarantee suitability for any specific medical condition or mobility limitation. Guests are responsible for reviewing all photos, layouts, and configurations before booking to ensure they align with physician recommendations.
• Layout Considerations: Please note that mattresses may be positioned higher than standard residential bed heights. This residence features a traditional tub/shower combination. Suite 35B is the only residence on this property equipped with a walk-in shower. Please review all photos, stair access details, and configurations carefully before booking.
• Pre-Booking Responsibility: You are expected to thoroughly review all photos, read these rules, and share them with your party before confirming your stay. While we cannot determine physical fit for your specific situation, we are happy to answer operational questions before booking.
• Visitor Supervision: Children and visitors are welcome but must remain under close adult supervision within shared property boundaries and avoid neighboring private porches, patios, and designated parking areas.
Community Rules & Security
• Residential Community: This property is intentionally operated as a quiet, low-density residential community designed for 30-night or longer extended stays. Medical travelers receive first placement priority; when availability permits, other carefully screened extended-stay guests are welcome when they agree to preserve our smoke-free community standards and respectful residential environment. Party-oriented stays, loud gatherings, graduation events, and disruptive occupancy are not permitted.
• Property Boundary Etiquette: Shared backyard areas are available for resident use; however, individual porches, patios, and assigned parking areas remain private to each suite.
• 100% Smoke-Free Property: Smoking, vaping, and marijuana use are prohibited anywhere on the property, including outdoor spaces. Violations may result in cancellation, termination of occupancy, additional fees, or other remedies permitted under the Residency Agreement.
• Property Oversight & Security: Exterior security devices and cameras monitor common outdoor spaces and entrances only, with audio and video recording. No devices monitor interior living spaces. Unverified overnight guests are not permitted.
