Great place to stay
Stayed here during 2022 USA Ultimate Masters Championships in Aurora. Location was only 15 minutes from the Aurora Sports Complex. We were also only 20 minutes from downtown Denver. The place was a nice home base between activities, Very relaxing. Will look to stay here again in future tournaments.

Cosy home to explore Denver
My friends and I stayed in Anna’s place for a few nights at the start of a road trip/hiking trip.
The home was full of very thoughtful amenities and it was always a relief to arrive home to a cosy after a long day of walking around, exploring Denver, Boulder and hiking.
Anna was available and very responsive to help out when needed.
Would definitely stay again.

Hidden gem with a touch of Kenya.
This was a nice basement apartment for 2 people. The decor is very tasteful and very colorful. The apartment has 2 small bedrooms, a very functional , well-stocked kitchen with some very nice coffees, and a nice living room/ dining room combo. The cleanliness was impressive. The location was good for all the activities that we had planned. The host was communicative but not intrusive. I would stay here again.

Basement apartment that does smell like a basement. The garage is a big bonus which makes staying there feel very safe. Would have liked clearer instructions on where the entrance door was. Really need VRBO app for communication which I did not have at first.

A little dissappointed by this review as it does not align with much of what we provide. We provide very detailed check-in instructions with photos for check-in right from where lockbox is to where the entrance is. This is all done within 24 hours of your check-in. We also provide host contact information so that if you have any trouble checking in, you can reach out to us. We never got any communication from you other than the text informing us of your son and his wife coming to visit and ending with (AND I QUOTE) "....This is a lovely place. Thank you."
COMMUNICATION: We always make sure to communicate with our guests right from booking which is why we emphasis a 24-hour response time during which time we provide guests with lots of information so that they can do their due diligence in deciding if we are a fit. On the flip side, we felt that you actually were not very responsive but seemingly new to VRBO app, as you continued to send communication via text, which is discouraged both by VRBO and us. We find text messages to be a poor way to communicate as one can miss the communication thus encourage guests to use the platform or call in the event of an emergency. We cut you some slack and did not hold it against you and even allowed you to have your family over, who stayed well into the night on many occassions to where we felt to ask if you needed extra linen for them as it would not have cost you any extra since we price for max occupancy.
You may have taken offense to this (our inquiry about supplying extra linen, or request to try to keep communication on the platform) and thought we were going to reflect it in our review of you, on the contrary, we see no reason to ding guests, particularly new guests for what could be a learning curve. Please also note that Hosts have no control over the VRBO App. It is up to guests to install the App, which is simple and easy to do and VRBO can walk you through the process of doing so, such that you are keeping all communication on the platform thereby also protecting yourself as guest.
As far as your comment related to the suite smelling like a basement. The reality is, it is a basement, yet we work hard to mitigate any negative experience to help work towards guest comfort as much as possible. We have Disposable Moisture Absorbers with Activated Charcoal strategically placed in the suite and one of the top quality air purifiers, Blueair Blue Pure 211+ Air Purifier which we provide in all our suites not limited to the garden level suites to help provide cleaner and fresher indoor air for guests, capturing airborne allergens and particles (dust, pollen, pet dander, smoke, certain viruses and bacteria and even VOCs from cleaning products and building materials) as indicated on our listing description.
Our many positive reviews show that we go to great lengths to ensure a comfortable stay for guests. We take pride in what we offer and always seek to stand out, thus going with a mix of culture, the Kenyan culture and modern amenities.
Glad you liked some of the amenities provided. Perhaps next time you will try some of our non-Basement options which we have a few, all carrying the same theme, "A TASTE OF KENYA IN THE DENVER METRO AREA." Many guests love the experience of culture and modern upgrades infused into a memorable experience. Anna's Home/VRBO Was Excellent
My family took a long weekend in the Denver area in June 2022. I found Anna's listing on VRBO and the pictures of her home were exactly the same as when we arrived. Her home was clean, cozy and very comfortable. We even had a private garage! She was easy to get in touch with and the check in and check out processes were a breeze. The location of the property was convenient and close to several shopping areas. It was easy to find and and easy to get onto the highway/streets to take us to our destinations. I will stay at Anna's home the next time we are in the Denver area!

The place was clean and well kept. There were snacks waiting for us on the table and a large TV for when we came back to chill between activities. It's located next to a main road to take you right into the heart of Denver. Most of the places we went just happened to be a relatively straight shot from here. Checking in and out was easy and Anna was very hospitable, even apologizing for some light noise coming from some of the neighbors. Thanks for everything!
