Sunroom Retreat | Suite 35A | Medical Transition Housing Near CommonSpirit & Intermountain Health
Medical-Priority Placement Philosophy
Medical travelers, caregivers, and healthcare-related stays receive first placement priority. When availability permits, we also welcome carefully screened extended-stay guests who value the same quiet, smoke-free residential environment.
We don't simply match guests to available housing—we match guests to an environment they'll help preserve.
Every reservation is individually reviewed, and every guest—regardless of the purpose of their stay—is expected to uphold the same community standards.
Who This Is For
This quiet, low-stimulus residential home base is intentionally designed for the day-to-day lifestyle continuity of:
✔ Patients traveling for active treatment
✔ Caregivers supporting a loved one’s recovery path
✔ Healthcare professionals on extended assignments
✔ Families navigating medical or life transitions
✔ Other qualified extended-stay guests seeking and committed to preserving a quiet, smoke-free residential environment
Core Value Drivers: Stability, Emotional Relief & Space to Breathe
Stability During a Difficult Season
Medical transitions rarely follow predictable timelines. This suite is designed as a stable residential home base for extended stays, providing privacy, consistency, & flexibility during treatment, professional assignments, relocation, & other major life transitions.
A Natural Break from Clinical Corridors
Extended medical stays can make life feel confined to appointments and temporary housing. The suite provides a peaceful residential setting that supports decompression, fresh air, & reconnection with everyday life.
The Sunroom That Changes the Way You Stay
Hotels rarely offer a room that isn't a bedroom or living room. Suite 35A's enclosed sunroom creates a third living space where mornings begin more slowly & evenings end more peacefully. Whether you're enjoying coffee, reading, working remotely, taking a call, or simply enjoying the natural light, the sunroom becomes a quiet retreat that helps longer stays feel more like everyday living than temporary lodging.
A Humanized Alternative to Temporary Housing
Rooted in authentic Kenyan hospitality, the suite is designed to help guests feel settled and at home during extended stays.

Preserving Everyday Independence

This suite functions as a dependable communication hub, supporting productivity when you need to be on. Room to Breathe
Longer stays place emotional & logistical demands. The suite provides space for rest, caregiving, remote work, & personal time, helping everyone maintain healthier daily rhythms.
Everyday Function with Clear Expectations
Extended transitions work best when daily environments align with individual needs & routines. This suite features an upper-level residential layout with a traditional tub/shower combination. Guests are encouraged to review the layout carefully before booking to ensure it aligns with their mobility needs & recovery requirements.

Operational Flexibility & Transition Support
When availability permits, guests may request early check-in, late checkout, stay extensions, or transfers within our portfolio. Standard incidental holds are processed as temporary authorizations rather than upfront cash deposits.
📋 Booking Requirements
To help provide a safe, verified, and low-friction booking experience, the following requirements apply to all reservations:
• Intake Verification (Non-Clinical): A brief operational review to confirm the residence can support your stay, including mobility, environmental, caregiver, or medical equipment considerations. This is not a clinical assessment.
• Payment: Payment is required before Secure Onboarding begins and before reservation confirmation.
• Traveler's Insurance: Travel Interruption/Cancellation Protection covering the full reservation period is required.
• Security Hold: A temporary electronic incidental authorization hold is processed at the time of payment ($500 standard / $750 with approved pets in Suites 17B and 35B). This is an authorization hold only—not an upfront cash deposit. American Express (AMEX) is not accepted.
• Secure Onboarding: Following booking, guests complete Secure Onboarding by providing government-issued photo IDs for all adult occupants, requested emergency contacts, and a signed Residency Agreement within 24 hours.
• Pet-Free Environment: To support guests who prefer or require a pet-free environment and to help maintain allergen-conscious standards, Suite 35A remains a pet-free residence. No pets of any kind are permitted within this unit.
• Direct Reservations: Additional verification may be required based on the reservation source or placement circumstances.
• Booking Integrity: Reservations must be completed directly through this website or another approved Kenyan Furnished Rentals booking channel. We are not affiliated with Houzlet or other unauthorized third-party listing services.
COMMUNITY STANDARDS + POLICIES
Housing Model
Kenyan Furnished Rentals provides private Medical Transition Housing only. We do not provide medical treatment, nursing care, caregiving, supervision, transportation, or other clinical services. Guests remain responsible for arranging any caregiver or medical support recommended by their healthcare team.
Accessibility & Placement Considerations
• Suitability Verification: Because every recovery journey is unique, we do not evaluate or guarantee suitability for any specific medical condition or mobility limitation. Guests are responsible for reviewing all photos, layouts, and configurations before booking to ensure they align with physician recommendations.
• Layout Considerations: Please note that mattresses may be positioned higher than standard residential bed heights. This residence features a traditional tub/shower combination. Suite 35B is the only residence on this property equipped with a walk-in shower. Please review all photos, stair access details, and configurations carefully before booking.
• Heating & Cooling: Suite 35A is the upper residence of a traditional up/down duplex above a separate garden-level residence. Each residence has its own private entrance and living space. Both residences share a central heating and cooling system. The thermostat is located in Suite 35A. For everyone's comfort, residents are generally encouraged to maintain the thermostat between 72°F and 75°F.
• Pre-Booking Responsibility: You are expected to thoroughly review all photos, read these rules, and share them with your party before confirming your stay. While we cannot determine physical fit for your specific situation, we are happy to answer operational questions before booking.
• Visitor Supervision: Children and visitors are welcome but must remain under close adult supervision within shared property boundaries and avoid neighboring private porches, patios, and designated parking areas.
Community Rules & Security
• Residential Community: This property is intentionally operated as a quiet, low-density residential community rather than a party, event, or high-turnover vacation property. Stays of 7 nights or longer are welcomed when guests agree to preserve our smoke-free community standards and respectful residential environment. Graduation parties, loud gatherings, and disruptive occupancy are not permitted.
• Property Boundary Etiquette: Shared backyard areas are available for resident use; however, individual porches, patios, and assigned parking areas remain private to each suite.
• 100% Smoke-Free Property: Smoking, vaping, and marijuana use are prohibited anywhere on the property, including outdoor spaces. Violations may result in cancellation, termination of occupancy, additional fees, or other remedies permitted under the Residency Agreement.
• Property Oversight & Security: Exterior security devices and cameras monitor common outdoor spaces and entrances only, with audio and video recording. No devices monitor interior living spaces. Unverified overnight guests are not permitted.
