Green Escape

Green Escape is a well thought out, beautifully accommodated and welcoming, stand-alone, fully furnished two-bedroom apartment space for your stay in Asheville. We are more of a B&B option where your host resides in the upstairs portion but sleeps outdoors in a separate space. You can have as much or as little interaction with the host, so your privacy is guaranteed. You get the best of both worlds, a host as a chauffeur, florist, landscape advisor, concierge, cook, comrade, or none of those. I am out for much of the day doing volunteer work, or working out at the gym, or gardening for myself or others. Unless you want interaction with me, you probably never see me after our first meeting. Perhaps a nod, a wave of the hand at best. When you book, I trust you will respect me and my beautiful accommodations and you can trust me to respect your privacy, guaranteed. If your privacy is of utmost importance, I can arrange to stay elsewhere during your weekend visits, only returning to water my extensive gardens or ensuring the hot tub is operating in tip top condition. You can experience any four-walled, boxed in accommodation elsewhere and probably at greater expense. Tom breathes life into your accommodations with fresh flowers, tropical and flowering plants, eclectic decor, waffle weave textured robes, essential oil diffuser, deep-toned wind chimes outdoors, lush outdoor landscaping not to mention a well-stocked fridge and snack selection. All five of your senses have been addressed and you'll reluctantly depart refreshed and ready for another adventure here at Tom's beautiful venue.
Isolate yourselves, just yourselves, always with no other guests. Your personal porch beckons or slip into the hot tub, always just yours and always ready for just you. The private and seasonal outside hot shower is always a treat when you commune with nature before, after, or both before hopping into the hot tub
The hot tub, the sylvan setting, the deep tonal wind chimes, the moon, the stars, the scents of nature, the cozy spaces, the comfy beds, the warmth of throws, covered outdoor porch, top notch service are all yours and only yours during your stay. When you book, you are my focus, you are my only guests, you never have to share with anyone, all the amenities are meant just for you.
Ready to escape into nature and still be less than 15 minutes from the buzz of Asheville? Green Escape is a spacious two bedroom, single bath apartment with good sized living room, dinette table, a kitchen with a full sized French-door fridge, coffee and tea station, stackable Samsung washer and dryer, microwave, toaster and oven/stove. (Additionally, arrangements can be made to utilize my full sized kitchen on the upper level for any formal type food experience)
Great quality queen sized mattresses and bedding. You'll find cozy, waffle weave textured spa robes for your use to lounge or transport you to your personal outdoor porch with hot tub and hot seasonal shower only steps away. If clothing optional is your gig, it's yours for the taking.
As welcoming, colorful, warm and cozy the interior spaces are in Green Escape, they are equally rivaled by the lush and colorful landscape that Tom along with mother nature provides. Mature trees with stately canopies carry your senses upwards to the stars and beyond as you soak in the hot tub just for the two of you. Shower beneath the stars or in the dappled shade of the soaring canopy as the season permits. Your covered personal porch provides shelter from the rain and is only steps away from the hot tub and outdoor hot seasonal shower.
Green Escape, although it can accommodate four is really designed for two:
husband-wife, boyfriend-girlfriend, two lovers, two friends, two husbands, two wives. All walks of life are welcomed and validated. The nightly rate is for two, but we can accommodate up to four at additional charge per person, per night.
Tom offers a place to renew, revive and relax, the way that works best for you.
We are located 7.5 miles from the Biltmore Estate as well as downtown and almost equidistant from Black Mountain. Located in an older sub-division, Green Escape is nestled in the rolling, semi-wooded landscape and yet is close enough to everything for your "Escape" back home.
Come experience a level of hosting you seldom find elsewhere. With over 20 years of innkeeping and hosting experience Tom is well versed in taking excellent care of you. Preferring a hands on approach, Tom loves and prefers meeting his guests, briefly orienting them and then setting them off on their own for adventures around property, downtown, and the higher elevations of the Blue Ridge!
Nestled in the rolling hills of East Asheville and close to Swannanoa, even the neighborhood offers picturesque and moderately sloped walking and hiking possibilities. Hiking poles provided.
