Charming Country Cabin in Quaint Texas Town

Experience true tranquility in this ideal retreat located minutes from Round Top, Texas... home of renowned antique shopping. Lake Fayette is also nearby and Cora's Cabin has ample space for parking your boat!

Main floor bedroom features full bath. Living room offers double reclining sofa plus comfy chaise. Kitchen includes microwave and Keurig! Upstairs loft provides additional comfy sleeping quarters. (Please note... bathroom is accessed through primary bedroom)

- Sadly, a guest who booked through Expedia, has left a disparaging review, yet currently there is no way to provide a reply to a review not left on VRBO. We did not receive the guest's email, they did not contact us through the platform, nor did they reach out via text or phone call (our number is on the business card mentioned). We have had an HVAC professional analyze the areas mentioned and he affirms these are of no concern. Further, all areas have been thoroughly cleaned with a bleach solution. Our hearts break that someone would aim to create such alarm for future guests. -

Great place to stay!

Cute and super clean place to stay not too far from Round Top area. Fayetteville is a cool little town. Host is very accessible and responds very quickly to any questions I had( my first time booking with vrbo). The house has everything you need! Great experience!

Mother of the Bride!

The experience I had was Amazing!! I loved the small town comfort. Reminded me of when I lived in Brenham!!! The property was beautiful, quiet & cozy. Also, was very close to the venue. After a long day of shopping at the Roundtop Markets, this country cabin was the perfect place to re-energize! It was very clean and had very comfortable beds. The host was very responsive and even provided yoga mats and weights!

Unexpected trip to Fayetteville

Not so much for fun so booking was hurried just before I flew out. House is nice, well built and cozy. Bed was comfortable and not too far from town square. While not necessarily walkable in July, very close to town and dead quiet at night.

4 fun friends

Cora's cabin was great! It was a short and easy drive from Warrenton. It was very clean and quaint and the 2 Queen beds were extremely comfortable. We did have to share a downstairs bathroom which was not a big deal for us. The owner, Patti, was super sweet and a great communicator. We had an amazing time! We wouldn't hesitate to rent Cora's Cabin again.

This property was perfect for our needs. The house was clean, well stocked and comfortable. We stay in the area during market days and Fayetteville is just the cutest small town. We would definitely stay there again.

Central Location

Cora’s Cottage is the BEST Vrbo I’ve stayed in for quite awhile. I travel a lot and always try to find a home and avoid hotels. Recently these Vrbo stays have been in houses with Hotel Grade accommodations. Nothing to distinguish them. That was NOT the case here. The mattress was AMAZING! The same quality you would want for your home. Yes, the cottage is beside a RR track but it was no so disturbing that i won’t stay again. The cottage is centrally located, well appointed and the host are friendly and very accommodating.

Beautiful Cabin. Comfy. Very clean. Everything you can possibly need. However: It is right next to a Railroad. So that was loud. I’m a light sleeper. So heard the Train go by twice in the wee hrs of the night. Husband heard it once â˜ș other then that! Perfect!

Pleasant time at Cora’s Cabin

We came for Antiques Week in Round Too and found Cora’s Cabin to be a peaceful retreat after busy antiquing days. We loved the location, soft bed and oh so charming town of Fayetteville. Patti was very responsive when we had a question. We hope to be back on a future trip.

Lovely place!

We got to spend a great weekend here. Shopping in Round Top and going to a street dance in Fayetteville were highlights! Really enjoyed our stay but info for other renters... It is VERY near train tracks. Thursday night 1030... Friday Saturday not there until late but Sun around 930..train... just FYI Other than that... wonderful space!

We have consumed more calories than a person has a right at the local cafe, marveled at the star-filled night skies, and enjoyed the town that is "right-sized" in the heart of Texas smack dab between Houston and Austin.

You know that happy place we create in our minds... that place that is simple and charming? Cora's Cabin fits that image we have retreated to mentally for years. With wood plank floors, walls and white washed wood ceiling, there is a natural calm and peace to be had here. The kitchen and bath and smart TV, however, take away the angst camping can bring.
