Host was very nice and helpful my husband and I planned to go on a fishing trip but it Snowed the night before so the guide canceled and we have a up to a year to use our trip but we found things to do we did go to the seven springs winery very nice place and visit buchanan store

Kayaks included in the rental made getting on the lake super easy. It was a beautiful, peaceful trip in a secluded neighborhood. Well stocked with kitchen utensils, towels, etc.

Had a great week at the lake. Really enjoyed the home. Fishing was not the greatest because they were lowering the water level. Very spacious and clean.

Great house with dock

We loved the house and being able to dock our boat all week was great. Public boat ramp right across the cove so it was only a couple mins by boat to house. Very quiet neighborhood and all the people in the area were friendly and welcoming. We did not realize that the garage was not accessible and that made unpacking the truck with a weeks work of cloths and food a little more difficult.

A quiet stay at Kerr Lake

The house was spacious and comfortable. We had a nice view of the lake. The kitchen was well equipped. Access to cable tv and internet was excellent. It was easy to access our favorite sporting events. The check out instructions were very simple. The set up of the house and amenities made our stay enjoyable.

Perfect Retreat!

Beautiful house with large, well-equipped kitchen, dining and living areas and 2 large bedrooms. Perfect for 2 couples /- 2 kids. Very comfortable and convenient! There were even a few games, which we really enjoy! The host, Pam, is very responsive. We would come back!

Fantastic Lake Stay

Just as described in their listing, this beautiful home on the lake was a perfect spot for our small family to enjoy a peaceful getaway. We loved the natural surroundings of the lake spot and spent the majority of our stay in the water and enjoying quiet hikes nearby. Would highly recommend to anyone wishing to enjoy this quiet place. The house had all the amenities described and was very comfortable.

A beautiful home with a beautiful view of the lake. Very clean and comfortable. We had an amazing time visiting wineries and Occoneechee State Park all just about 30 minutes from the house. We will definitely book this property again.

Fairly nice with a few quirks

I enjoyed my time, property is located really close to neighbors so not as much privacy as i’d like. Several lights in the house were buggy or just didn’t work. Other than those nitpicks: house was very clean, easy access to the lake, kayaks were nice for fishing or just puttering along the lakeside.

Fantastic Stay at a Beautiful Lake House

We had an amazing time staying at this lovely lake house! The house was well-maintained, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The quiet and peaceful area provided the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. We were also lucky enough to have great weather, which allowed us to fully enjoy the surroundings. The only thing we wished for was an outdoor grill, as it would have been great for enjoying meals outside. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and we’d love to return again in the future!

Fall trip

This was our second stay at this property. Last time was in the spring, and we really enjoyed it. Came back in the fall and were not disappointed! Catfishing from the bank was good and the house is very comfortable. We will probably be back!

We are a military family of 5 who visited the area several years ago and fell in love with the community and lake. We have traveled all over the world and are originally from the Northeast, but nothing beat the quiet country living of Kerr Lake and the surrounding area.

As a family who loves being outdoors, we enjoy boating, hiking, swimming, water sports, camping, and spending time together. This home has given us the opportunity to do all that and more- our true real life dream that we can share with others.

We fell in love with Kerr Lake due to its quiet serene landscape. Kerr Lake is one of the largest lakes in North Carolina however less overpopulated due to its building restrictions and desire to protect the surrounding wildlife. The clean blue waters are unique compared to most lakes. There is less boat traffic, and more serenity. You can literally enjoy the quiet and take in the surrounding nature and beauty of the lake. The property's location provides some of the best sunset views around.

You can literally catch HUGE catfish right from the dock. The property is located in a family friendly community, ideal for any lifestyle. The cove protects the dock and shoreline from rougher weather but provides deep water perfect for swimming and fishing.

If you enjoy peace and seclusion, this is the perfect property for you. Unlike other area surrounding lakes, Kerr Lake is for those who truly enjoy being outdoors and having a quiet place to relax. Some days out on the lake, you are the only one in sight for miles.

Without having to even leave the property, you can enjoy the full benefits of the lake by use of the dock or kayaks. The sunset views by the fire pit are a memory for a lifetime.
