"The DOME" is a unique home with two master suites and a kid's room with a bunk bed. Two additional adult size cots stored in entrance closet for groups looking to spread out. Ample parking for trailers along with over two hundred feet of floating dock at the lake end of a private channel, this home is begging to host families for a vacation of fishing, kayaking, and watersports. One side of the property borders a Lake County Land Trust reserve with many species of herons, egrets, osprey, ducks, turtles, otters, deer and raccoons are routinely observed.

The house was so cozy and the kitchen so well appointed. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration. We also really enjoyed dining al fresco and paddling on the lake.

Annual lake visit

Our family tries to make an annual trip to the lake and enjoy renting a different VRBO each time . This was one of the most comfortable and best located properties we have experienced. Thanks to the hosts for maintaining a lovely property. We would surely recommend the location to anyone asking .

This is our second stay here and that says a lot. The house is very unique. The location and view are wonderful. Having access to kayaks and the paddle boat is a huge draw for this rental. The bird/wildlife exposure is spectacular. We had a few requests upon arrival and the host was very responsive and this made a big difference. Thank you PJ.

Now that we have found this place, this will be the only place that we will rent when we visit Clearlake, which we typically do yearly. When I say it has everything you need this is an understatement. It’s quirky but in the best way possible it’s really like staying inside a work of art. The location could not be better. You have the calmness of the lake And the view is unbeatable. All of the water sports you could ask for all the pots and pans you could possibly need honestly it has everything I love this place.

Great location on ravine

Had a great time with our two kids here- we had fun on kayaks and paddle boat and exploring in the ravine. Was our first time to clear lake and had a nice time! Lots of great things in the home made this place kid friendly!

Charming and Fun!

This is a unique and charming home, in a great location! Comfortable for our group, beautiful view of the water and wildlife, all kinds of birds, good fishing and overall, very comfortable. The home is stocked with the things you'd need and we loved sitting on the couch and watching the lake.

2024 annual guys fishing trip

We’ve stayed 3 years now at the octagon house, always a great time, love the location , private dock and setting! Great amount of parking and space for vehicles with boat trailers! Can’t wait to come back for 2025 trip!

The Dome is awesome!

The kids loved the stay here and ran from room to room looking at all the cool attributes of each. The house was so comfortable and right at the water inlet. Our fishing guide even picked us up from the dock! We will stay here when we come.back and highly recommend the property!

Perfect location

This place was amazing !!!! Perfect location and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need and the house was SO CLEAN!!! The sunsets were beautiful . There were games to play and all the beds were super comfortable. Everything was very true to the listing and we are so happy we were able to experience a weekend at the dome!!

We Loved our Stay at “The Dome” and are already planning our return. The Home is So Unique, Clean & Well Stocked. You can take in the Beautiful View while relaxing inside or outside The hosts were So Kind and promptly replied to any questions we had. Looking Forward to returning!

Dad and two adult sons, a Dome house, a lake with fish? what more could you ask for?

Excellent home, beautiful setting, fabulous wildlife to watch and just really relaxing. Thanks to the dock on the property it was easy coming and going on the lake. The hosts were wonderful with great communications and just really nice couple. Thanks very much for sharing your bit of heaven.

Nice spot for our family

We booked this place last minute Labor day weekend. I'm surprised a place like this was still available. My two boys fished all weekend from the docks. They loved it. Caught plenty of fish. Host communication was great. Easy check in and out. We would absolutely stay here again!

A little slice of heaven

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the dome. What a fun and fantastic place to stay. We fished for hours and just relaxed and soaked up all of natures beauty for three days. The place was very clean and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend booking. We will definitely be back when our son is old enough to hold his own fishing pole lol
