David‘s place was great! Has everything that we could possibly want for our stay in Venice. The kitchen was fully stocked. Even have both a Keurig and a regular coffee pot. All kinds of pots and pans appliances, dishes silverware. Plenty of towels, blankets, linens, etc.. The newly remodeled pool and pool deck are gorgeous! We truly enjoyed our stay.

Calming retreat

Excellent location for walking to beach, jetty, restaurant, and historic Venice. Great to watch sunset from pool deck on beach just across the street. Apartment was well stocked and well planned storage in such a small space was amazing. Furniture was comfortable and enjoyed morning coffee on balcony overlooking water, watching sunrise.

Exceeded Expectations!

The Condo was far more spacious than expected. There was plenty of storage space for clothes and the kitchen was awesome with everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable and the bedding was top notch. The living room was also incredibly comfortable. It was a 2 minute walk to the beach so the location was perfect. There were beach chairs, beach towels, extra linens and bath towels, cleaning supplies, and wonderful dishes, glasses, utensils, pots and pans... everything was there! The full size fridge had a great ice maker too! This condo was perfect in every way!

Cozy Condo

We loved staying at the condo unit. It has been recently updated very nicely. The furniture is comfortable and clean. The appliances are newer. The bed is very comfortable. Plenty of room for 2 people. Loved sitting out side watching the canal and visiting with the neighbors. The pool is large and heated at 90 degrees. The beach is wide and deep. Liked walking to the south jetty to watch dolphins and boat traffic. Crows Nest restaurant is just a short walk and has great food. Bahia Vista is an older but very nice well maintained property. I would definitely stay here again. The owner was very prompt on getting me a parking pass since the one in the condo was missing upon arrival.

Creepy neighbor looking in the windows

The owner David did not leave a mail key even though I told him I was having my mail forwarded weeks in advance. I had to wait wait 2 weeks to check my mail. David also gave the wrong WiFi informtion and insisted it was correct. Took me a. Hour to figure this it the correct WiFi name. The balcony is not private and the old creepy neighbor John would walk by my windows when I was in my pjs. It was creepy and I felt uncomfortable. The only linens provided were one bath towel, one hand towel and one dish towel that is it! I had to wash everything all the time and the laundry room is downstairs and cost 1.75 per load and no change machine. I had to drive down to the car wash to get quarters all the time. The bed had one sheet set and no mattress pad. The sheets didn’t match the pillowcases and the pillowcases were flannel! Who uses flannel pillowcases I. August in Florida??? Then after not complaining about any of this David sends me a series of nasty emails after check out accusing me of stealing linens and sheets and not cleaning when I had paid for the cleaning when I rented the place. Overall this place was a disaster and would never rent from David again. He is an absentee owner and doesn’t know what is happening with his own property.

Perfect

Perfect location, rental experience, and unit for vacation. The unit was immaculate, very cute, brand new, and very quiet. Check-in was a breeze. I would definitely stay here again.

Visit to Venice

This was our first time to Venice, Fl. and this property suited our needs perfectly with its location, newly renovated property, onsight laundry, and amenities. We would definitely rent it again.
