Modern Rustic Cabin Family GetAway

Our cabin is not a place to stay while you are on vacation... our cabin is the vacation. You can come and enjoy the surrounding areas if you want, but you can also just come and spend the entire time away from the outside world. It is a quiet, peaceful, relaxing place to just unwind.

Are you looking for a cozy, and quiet get-away spot to rest and relax? SereniTree Cabin is the perfect spot! Located up on a bluff, between Prairie Du Chien, WI and Ferryville, WI, this A- frame cabin gets you within 5 minutes from the river but allows you to be tucked back in a quiet wooded area. (Please note that there is about a mile of gravel that is maintained in order to get to the cabin. The driveway is gravel and a bit steep. During the winter it would be best to have AWD or 4WD) Enjoy your morning coffee in the outdoor room while you watch the deer and birds and relax by the fire table at night. There is plenty of space at SereniTree for enjoying.a movie or family and friends game night! Cabin is best suited for 4 adults. The loft has a king sized bed, then there is also pull out sleeper sofas (Queen beds) in the upper and lower living room. The bedroom downstairs can be set up either with a king sized bed or two twin beds. It is always set up as a king unless the guest specifies they would prefer it as two twins.

Very clean cabin tucked in a quiet corner low in the woods. Enjoyed the nature sounds early in the morning and evening walks up the road to see deer in the fields. Spent day trips during our stay paddling on the Wisconsin, Mississippi, and Kickapoo Rivers.

Kevin and Heidi have been high school sweethearts and have been married for 25 years. Heidi grew up in Decorah, Iowa and Kevin in Ossian, Iowa. We live with our family of 6 in Ossian, Iowa. Our oldest four children (William, Dawn, Sami, and Anita) came to us via foster care. We opened our homes and our hearts and we were blessed to welcome them into our family. Then came our son Trevin also via a foster care placement and finally came our youngest Ella. Kevin hauls mail for the US Postal Service and Heidi works as an PrK-8th grade school social worker. Our family is a super busy family and decided that we need a quiet and relaxing place to go as a family and as a couple.

Kevin and I bought a small cabin right around the corner from this one a few years ago. We have enjoyed getting to stay and escape the hustle and bustle of daily life at it. We have enjoyed sharing it with others and decided we wanted to build a larger cabin for families and friends to make memories together at. It has been a year long labor of love and we are so excited to share it with you! SereniTree Cabin is the perfect spot for you to enjoy each others company and nature. Let us help you unwind and give you a cozy comfy place to find SereniTree!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

SereniTree Cabin is about 5 minutes from the River. It is fairly secluded and offers a great place to get away. Besides its modern rustic decor it also has a very unique feature. SereniTree offers a jetted soaking tub in a separate space just outside of the basement family room. It allows you to relax in a serene and peaceful area and truly escape it all. If you have been out on the river or out hiking during the day and you want a quick shower before heading inside you can step in there and shower off as well.
