We have owned the Grandview Motel in Ferryville since 2006. In 2015 we purchased our first vacation rental house and now have 8 for our guests to choose from -- Bayview House, Shoreview Cottage, Eagleview Nest, Riverview Cabin, Vistaview Chalet, Woodview Lodge and Shady Oaks Cabin are all in the Ferryville area, just south of De Soto. Each one has a great view of the Mississippi River and features thoughtfully designed interiors. No two are alike.

Todd is also a professional waterfowl guide and avid fisherman. Donna's passions are interior design and gardening. Prior to the hospitality business we have a combined 35+ years of retail customer service experience. We strive to treat our guests with exceptional vacations at our beautiful properties!

We pride ourselves on providing beautiful places that have been fully inspected by the State of Wisconsin. Every requirement has been met, including annual well water testing. Beauty and comfort are super important along with health and safety.

STYLE! This is not your basic cabin. We spend a lot of time finding the exact right elements and designs for our vacation homes -- we even have a list of where we got each thing after having many guests ask about them. We feel our attention to detail sets us apart. This particular cabin is in a wonderfully private location and is cozy and gorgeous inside and out!

Relax with your cup of coffee in the upstairs recliner by the fire or the downstairs chaise lounge by the fire. Open up a bottle of wine and relax on the deck as the sun sets over the Mississippi River. Toast the day's end while enjoying the benefits of the private hot tub. You can especially enjoy peace and quiet while enjoying songbirds and soaring bald eagles. Keep an eye out for whitetail deer and wild turkeys as this is their home too!

DOG OWNERS -- We are happy to allow you to bring your dog (maximum 2 dogs) as we understand they are part of the family. They may NOT BE LEFT UNATTENDED inside the cabin. You can leave them alone if they are in crates. Also, shedding dogs need to stay off the furniture. Please pick up after them and note that any damages caused but dogs will be charged back to the guest.

Tranquility and serenity await you when you visit the exceptional Driftless Region of SW Wisconsin. What does that mean? It's called Driftless due to the fact that the glaciers completely went around our area. You won't find a straight and flat road around here! Our guests typically enjoy hiking:

* Fish Farm Mounds State Park (Iowa)

You can visit wineries throughout the area as well as multiple Amish vendors. Just hit the winding roads and discover what you might find. While your in Wisconsin, it's a short drive over to Iowa and not much further to Minnesota so you can have a lovely tri-state tour.

Bring your boat and do some fishing or take advantage of Clements Fishing Barge in Genoa. Bring your kayaks and explore the backwaters of the majestic Mississippi River.

Feel free to stroll through the large native prairie meadow as it's part of our property. Prior owners established this special area and we are maintaining it as best as we can. Todd keeps the paths mowed through for visitors to utilize. See how many wildflowers you can find. There are also a few bluebird houses on the property and a generous neighbor keeps an eye on them. We do love our nature out here in the Driftless Region.

Pop into the local bars and restaurants to enjoy some of the local flavor. Visitors are welcome and those of you from larger cities will enjoy the value. $20 gets you more here than in downtown Chicago, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, etc.
