We had a wonderful long weekend at Towhee cabin. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well stocked and was perfectly secluded with lots of great walking trails. Highly recommended!

We love this place and stay every October! The cabin is simple yet beautiful and well-equipped. We cook all our meals in and thoroughly enjoy the screened-in porch. It's a quiet refuge. Our dog loves it, too. We go for long hikes in the Kickapoo Valley Reserve and relax at the cabin in the evening. Rodney is easy and helpful to work with. We highly recommend!

The cabin slept five adults very comfortably. Two in the bedroom and three in the loft. The cabin was very comfortable with quality furniture and bed linens. Appliances were terrific. We enjoyed the screened in porch, the musical instruments, the fire pit, and the quietness of nature.

Great place in a great location

Spent four nights here with a friend to explore the area and do a little fishing and the cabin was exactly what we were looking for as a home base. Rodney is an excellent host and very attentive. Will definitely return soon.

Great cabin in lovely area

This is our second time staying in Towhee cabin. We love the screened-in porch area for breakfast, and small touches like provided Wonderstate coffee (local to area). I’m sure we’ll be back again!

Beautiful and rustic area

Bright and airy pine cabin with everything you need for a peaceful getaway. So many stars at night! The trails were a huge bonus as we love hiking with our pup. Can’t wait to come back.

We had a great stay at Driftless Creek. Rodney was helpful, friendly, and happy to provide advice about the grounds and nearby Viroqua. Also very quick to plow/salt/sand the driveway after a night’s snow. Towhee was a gorgeous, well-appointed little cabin, perfect for two. We could both imagine being there in the summer with it’s fantastic screened in porch overlooking the forest. Loved this place! We will be back. Thank you!

Great, Relaxing Stay

The cabin is secluded and relaxing just as advertised. One other cabin on the property was occupied during our stay but the cabins are spaced well enough apart that you don't even notice. We would love to return and experience the property and area in all seasons.
