Venez profiter de la nature avec plus de 90 acres à parcourir. Sentiers de longues promenades ou VTT. L'architecte James Fox a conçu cette maison à flanc de falaise surplombant une belle chute. Sentez-vous comme si vous étiez dans les arbres d'une région semblable à ce qu'elle était lorsqu'elle était habitée par des Indiens Cherokee. Le ruisseau alimente le lac Hartwell. Les glissades de bateaux sont à proximité pour fournir un grand accès à l'eau. Cette propriété est dans les contreforts des Great Smoky Mountains. Our stay here was amazing! We prepared our meals at the house. My daughter is in culinary school and was very impressed with the cookware equipped with the house! Will definitely be returning for another stay.

This is a beautiful, unique property situated in lovely woods adjacent to a waterfall. It’s amazing to wake up in bed in the middle of nature looking out onto the waterfall. Definitely a bucket list experience and one that I’d like to repeat!

Incredible getaway!

My husband, son and I stayed at the Waterfall house for our second time. My son picked the destination for his spring break b/c he loves it so much! Lots of family time, nature hikes, movies, board games. The property is absolutely as advertised and a true gem.

Little known place to get away

This was our second time at this beautiful getaway home. Outstanding architecture and peaceful surroundings. We did have some visitors at the falls as we were there during the July 4th week, but that would be expected on a a summer holiday. They were at the bottom of the falls and did not bother anyone. If you need to get away from it all, this is the place to do it!

Second time staying here. And, just like the last time, it was perfect! The house is very unique and impressive, as well as the view of the waterfall. Nothing to do close by and we loved that. There is plenty to do just a short drive away, but why? No dogs barking, sirens, guns, traffic, airplanes. Just peace and quiet! Not your average rental and well worth the price!

Fantastic view and unique house

Wow! Just wow! This property is fantastic. The house is custom built and has unique features such as built-ins, custom lighting, a huge fireplace, and views of a waterfall. This is a great place to get cozy in front of the fire or to go on a little hike to the waterfall. I would recommend this property for a romantic getaway.

Amazing place to reconnect

We made this a 2 day part of our end of summer road trip with our teenage children and it couldn't have been more perfect. Theres no WIFI and very limited cell service so during the rain or at night, puzzles were put together, board games played and lots and lots of talking. The views and having basically your own private waterfall just top it off as well as falling asleep to the the sound of the falls as night. Amazing!!

Heaven on Earth

The house is a sanctuary of peace, intimacy and total relaxation. The architecture is so appealing and a significant part of the tranquil atmosphere. It is a paradise with the constant flow of the waterfall. There are trails to the top and bottom of the waterfall that are not strenuous. It is a wonderful spiritual retreat to be centered and grounded. It is a fabulous place to be renewed. Great falls, lakes and parks nearby. There are stores conveniently located should you need anything. It is heaven on earth.

Awesome Experience

What an architectural and engineering gem!!!! Truly a one-of-a-kind home. What a shame it would be if this structure falls into disrepair. It could use some TLC to bring it back to it’s pristine beauty - a really difficult task given the remote location and structural challenges, especially on the exterior!!! Worth the effort. We loved our time in this beauty!! Thanks.

Thank you, Gwen, for your stay! I’m very glad you had an “awesome experience.” I’m very sorry you found any issues. We just completed a pressure washing and applied new stain to the exterior. In addition, we painted the interior and exterior of the porch to include replacing all the screening.

Homeowner canceled my reservation the morning of my check-in date. No real explanation given. I did receive a refund, but trip was ruined. Renter beware!

I’m sorry but this is completely inaccurate and I offered to help Tony in any way we could. I received notification from VRBO that there had been issues with this guest having unauthorized gatherings and receiving noise complaints from previous bookings. The note from VRBO stated we should consider cancelling their reservation. We tried to contact Tony immediately after receiving this note, but were unable to do so. I’ve been renting through VRBO for 15 years and never received a notification like this from VRBO. VRBO agreed we should cancel the reservation. I’m very sorry this happened, but we had no choice. We explained this to Tony and offered to help if this information was inaccurate, but did not receive any further correspondence. I can understand Tony’s confusion, but his issue is with VRBO.
