This is a beautiful and clean property in a great location. Parking is nearby and we had no trouble using the 20 minute loading and unloading spots for checking in and checking out.

It's a wonderful occasion when a Vrbo home is better than the online listing. We truly enjoyed the experience living right in the heart of Society Hill for a few days. The home was extremely clean. Everything inside the home we needed was provided for us. We felt secure and safe. The AC worked wonderfully. It was great to be in walking distance to so many historical sites. The bedrooms were good size and comfortable. Bathroom was super clean, shower worked perfectly, no issues. There is no dedicated parking space for this property. The host set us up with a parking permit which allowed us to leave our car in a spot beyond the posted time limits. There is a 10 charge/day, but it is cheaper than putting it in the garage. It can be a challenge to find a parking spot. Your parallel parking skills will get a workout. I was always able to find a spot within a block from the house.Philly is basically a big grid. It didn't take long to get used to driving around town. Use SpotHero to get parking in different areas, it helps.Our dog stayed with us. There is a Veterans' park two blocks from the house toward the river that had a large grassy area for our pup.Check in and check out was very simple and straight-forward.

If you are looking to be close to a ton of historical places, this is definitely the place to stay. So many things within a short walking distance. The property is very charming, but has everything you need. If you are planning a Philadelphia trip - look no further - this is the property for you!

Wonderful spot in society hill

This place was spectacular! We did a family weekend together. It was within walking distance of so many attractions. We didn’t need a car. As others mentioned, the stairs are steep, but you get use to it.

Philly Weekend

Great house in a great location for our weekend away in Philly. It’s located in a relatively quiet area in the city, lots of playgrounds and places to grab a bite to eat or a coffee nearby. Very family friendly neighborhood. House was very clean and beds were comfortable. The owner was easy to communicate with. Will definitely use this place again for future trips to the city!

Perfect Location!

We went to Philly for a concert held at the Theatre of Living Arts, located about 4 blocks away from this rental. Not only is the house walking distance from the venue, it's in a safe and historic neighborhood, also walking distance to all of the Revolutionary Era sites and attractions. Street parking can be an issue, so we were happy to park our car in a nearby garage, and we walked everywhere. It's a fantastic location!

Perfect for a Philly Weekend

This townhouse is well located and well suited for a viait to Philly. We walked easily to shopping, tourist sites and lots of good restaurants. Note that the place is old. Its creaky and the stairs are narrow and steep. It suites us to a "T." Shout out to the owner who was available as needed and very accommodating.

Excellent location

Convenient to historic sites. Property was clean and Duane was very helpful with any issues. Steep stairs, but plenty of grab handles to prevent falls. Bathroom for each bedroom, but only one shower on the upper 2 floors. Cookware and kitchen utensils were adequate for meals. A great value for the money. Thanks, Duane!!
