Furnished Housing

Hosting Jennifer and her family was a treat! We arrived to turn the home over and all the beds had been stripped and the sheets and towels had been placed inside the laundry hamper! Something we are not accustomed to finding. We will be honored to host you and your family again whenever you find yourselves in our neck of the woods! It was such a pleasure to serve Amelia and her beautiful family. They were kind, patient, and understanding of our imperfections when we accidentally locked the front door with the house key inside the house after having gone in so early to start up the wood stove/ fireplace and taken a millionth look at the home prior to their arrival. We were devastated thinking we’d ruined our first VRBO guest and her family’s stay. As soon as we realized what we’d done, we quickly rushed to the home to unlock it. Luckily we only reside 13 mins away from the home on the highway and were able to get the home opened up for Amelia and her beautiful family so they could start their relaxation time! It was very evident, upon their departure, they had been very kind and respectful to our home we’ve worked so hard to make available to those passing through. Although we don’t expect our guests to clean up after themselves to this extent, they were very respectful and we were pleasantly surprised to find they had done so. Amelia and her family are a family we’d open up our doors to absolutely any time the home is available again! Communication was amazing and they were even willing to come in later than the check in time due to it being Thanksgiving Day and knew we’d be cooking all day at our own home but on the contrary, because we had no one else booked, we were actually able to welcome them in much earlier. Thank you Amelia as well for the gesture and personal note you left on the coffee table, it was very much appreciated and Tim and I look forward to welcoming you all back any time!
