Our townhome is an ideal base for all of your alpine adventures in the San Juan Mountains in all seasons. Come to our cozy townhome for world-class ice climbing, skiing in Telluride or the free ski hill in Ouray, trail time in the Mt. Sneffels wilderness, mountain biking the Colorado Trail toward Durango or just to relaxing in the Hot Springs right next door. Showcasing the rustic heart of this state, our townhome is uniquely furnished with one-of-a-kind pieces from local craftsmen and with some of our own creations as well. And with views out every window and a private deck to take it all in, we hope you find yourself in love with this little Colorado mountain town like we are. This is our retreat, we are happy to share it with you and let it be yours as well!

We've got maps of the area for you use. Plenty of space to sort/store your gear while you're here and personal recommendations of trails, climbs and drives to take.

For families traveling with littles:
We've got you covered! We're equipped with a pack'n'play, baby gate and kid friendly dishes. Additionally, theres a blowup twin bed for a kid in the upstairs bedroom for families traveling with kiddos. We also have a few games, books and puzzles for your use while you're here.

A note about Ouray prices: as you’re looking around for the right home and host you might notice Ouray’s average nightly prices seem high and wonder why. As of 2022 the city of Ouray has implemented a short-term rental tax that is included in your booking and is the reason for the higher average prices. We actually think this is a positive thing because the tax will go to providing long-term affordable housing for all the wonderful residents of Ouray that you’ll likely experience serving you a beer at the brewery on your vacation or guiding you through the canyon. It’s most beneficial for this little mountain town to not only be a great place to visit but a sustainable place to live.

Spacious rental with great location

This property was perfectly located for us, we enjoyed the hot springs many times, loved being able to walk to town and enjoyed the view of the mountains every day with drinks on the porch. We would love to stay here again. The condo was stocked with everything we needed as well.

There were quite a few stairs in the condo, which I missed in the description. It turned out to be a bit much for the older couple we had with us, but the location was fantastic, and there was plenty of space for all 8 of us. One thing to note, though—there was a bear that came by nightly to check the trash cans, so I’d recommend being extra cautious, especially around dusk. Overall great place.

Brilliant Place in an Amazing Town

The place was a great location 'on the outskirts' of town (ie a 2 minute drive). Close to the Hot Springs, it was a perfect location as a Basecamp during our wedding week/weekend. Hist and everyone involved in the property were very responsive and kind. 10/10 would stay again!

Great Stay in Ouray

We had a wonderful stay in Ouray. The property is in an amazing location close to everything. Enjoy the hot springs! They are right across the parking lot. Trail access is also right around the corner. It was clean and comfortable with plenty of space. Hope to stay again in the future.

Great condo

Great location and condo. Central to everything in Ouray and you can walk anywhere you need to go within the city. Private parking so it was easy to park since it’s in the same lot as the hot springs and fitness center. Sarah answered all questions we had and gave us a list of things to do with our kids. Can’t wait to come back.

Great communication with Sarah

The condo was stocked with everything you might need on a vacation. Instructions were posted around the condo and were helpful. The view from the top floor bedroom window was so beautiful especially at night to see the stars. Easy walk to town and hot springs basically in your backyard. Kids loved the game room with darts, ping pong and football. The washer dryer was a real plus. We would definitely stay there again.

Great location with the hot springs and the river walk right there. Don't have to drive to those. We rented UTVs and hiked the perimeter trail (beautiful views above Ouray).The game room in bottom level was awesome for the kids and Dads (Foosball and table tennis).The Koy pond was fun to watch all the pretty fish.We were unable to use the grill. Maybe the gas was out? But we used the kitchen stove instead. Not a big deal.

If you are looking for quite this is not the place to rent

The townhouse is well appointed which is nice, but the location is not the quite relaxing small town, mountain experience we were expecting. The front door opens to a large parking lot for the visitors center, hiking trails, hot springs and park. It is nice they are close, but they are very popular so the parking lot is very busy. The back of the townhouse is feet away from highway 550 which is the main road through town. If you want everything close by then this is a great location. If you want quite and to be able to sit on the deck to read a book and enjoy mountain views than this is not a good location for you. The house is nice, I just hope this helps you when selecting where you want to spend your vacation so you understand the total picture.

Family fun in Colorado

Sarah is a great host and their home is wonderful and welcoming. It's in a perfect location close to everything you could ask for! Close to the waterpark and a few minute walk from town with Amazing views of the mountains. Can't wait to go back :)

We currently live in the Front Range and enjoying being outdoor guides helping others experience this great state and world we live in. We love to rock and ice climb, ski, mountain bike, trail run and backpack. We're thrilled that this townhome allows other to experience all the Colorado has to offer.

We bought this townhome this year, its been run as a short-term rental by a superhost and has great history; we only hope to maintain its reputation and offer the same quality of stay in Ouray. Come here to work hard and play hard. With many of us working remotely right now, its an ideal time to take your family on an adventure and try out some mountain living! Stay in our place for a month (book more than 30 days and you pay no sales tax which is a significant savings) and be set up to work remotely with fast internet and a designated work space with desk, monitor and keyboard while your family enjoys the mountains and hot springs.

Downtown Ouray is just down the road, also known as the ‘Switzerland of America” lined with Victorian buildings, breweries, boutiques, museums, and more! You'll love your extended stay here.
