The Barn Loft is the upper level of a newly renovated 1865 Barn, designed & skillfully transformed into a one of a kind dwelling with open floor plan, soaring ceilings and original hardwood beams & woodwork. There is a breathtaking feeling of openness and rustic charm incorporated into comfort and convenience. A quarter mile of stream and waterfalls run through the 5 Acre property. As the entire upper level of this huge renovated barn, Barn Loft has over 2000 sq ft of space, private driveway, parking, deck & entrance on Rt 8, Scudder Hill Rd. There is also a huge open meadow alongside the stream with outdoor fire pit. The Barn Loft has 3 bedrooms - a large king bed in master bedroom, queen in second bedroom, and full bed in 3rd bedroom which also contains a half bathroom. Each room is large and the main bathroom has a huge shower with glass doors and also washer/dryer. (Inflatable queen mattress available for additional guests.) Beautiful views from large windows.

The back lower portion of barn contains a lovely 2 bedroom suite, Creekside Getaway, which also has its own private entrance on Rt 30 with its own driveway, parking & lawn, completely separate from the upper Barn Loft. * For groups, we own 3 other rentals nearby: Creekside Getaway #1995638, Meadowlark #1974387,

The Barn Loft was charming and comfortable. The hosts did an amazing job of preparing us for our visit and kept in touch throughout to make sure we made it safe and had everything needed for a great stay.

Great home base for our ski trip!

We enjoyed everything about our stay! The space was clean and very comfortable, plus really unique which made it fun. We found it to be an easy drive to the ski mountain. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Perfect!

My family loved staying at The Barn Loft. We felt at home the moment we walked inside. Beautiful sun-filled living space and spacious, super cozy bedrooms. We took walks on the property and enjoyed the babbling creek. It's near several cute towns with great restaurants and shops.

Very cute and quaint stay

The Barn loft was a very beautifully decorated common space. Great kitchen and living room. Three bedrooms were very clean and nicely dressed bedding. Wonderful stay and the host communicated very well and was a pleasure to work with. Will be back!

Amazing Time

Susan and Jon made our stay wonderful! Why a gorgeous property to stay on and hidden Gems. What an amazing new property that have. Decor was super cute and the house was fully stocked with absolutely everything you need. I hope to be back soon.

Great stay

This is our family's second time at the Barn Loft and we will return many times for years to come. I look forward to our next visit to the Belleayre ski area and our next stay at your House. The communication with Susan and Jonathon as always was excellent! Hoping to one day come with more friends and take over both properties at this location!

Exceptional stay

Owners were very communicative and flexible. The barn was so warm and cozy, yet spacious. Our children loved the uniqueness of the property and exploring the creek and waterfall onsite. We were there for the Superbowl and they ensured we were comfortable and had access to the technology to see the game on their large screen television. Very close to all skiing!

Lovely open space in convenient location

Right between 2 small towns and 10 min to ski, this house had plenty of space for our extended family to relax with kids. Well stocked kitchen. Lots of comfy seating. Great bathroom. Loved the sound of the stream outside. It is close to the road, but it’s the Catskills … the traffic dies down early.

Great stay in the Catskills

Clean, nicely decorated and comfortable space. Very easy to communicate with the owners. We had some heating issues and they were quick and responsive in resolving it. One note, the kitchen could use a few more items if you want to cook a meal for a group, such as proper knives and serving platters. Though it has the very basics.

Clean barn loft

My two sons and I took this for a long weekend so that we could go skiing Belayre sold out so we had to go to Wyndham which is a bit of a hike - space was clean & rustic the only thing I wish I gotten a heads up about was that there were going to be people renting below. There was some noise over the weekend and we weren’t sure what it was. When we looked out the window. We saw other renters, other than that great stay

Book it, you will love it!

Our experience was exceptional! Susan and Jonathan are amazing and are quick with communication. They really transformed this barn into a very nicely decorated home. It was perfect for my husband and I. It will also be great for family and friends and has 3 bedrooms, one bedroom with a bathroom which is nice! Highly recommend! Cheryl R.

Great Ski Location in Beautiful Loft

This Barn loft is beautiful and newly renovated with all you need for a great stay. Owners are super responsive & answered texts immediately & checked in on us throughout our stay. The loft is spacious & beautiful with high vaulted wooden ceilings & plenty of room for 3 couples or a family. We are a family of 5 and had plenty of room. Location is perfect for skiing at Plattekill or Bellearye. It is located also next to a sweet little stream & many hiking trails with waterfalls. Private driveway & entrance. We will definitely be back (with friends)!
