We enjoyed our stay. it was a great central location for visiting Drummond Island, Tahquamenon Falls, and the Soo. The cabin itself was comfortable and clean and met our needs well.

Warm, cozy, inviting and peaceful! Spectacular cabin on the lake offered a much needed retreat from the busy day to day hustle and bustle. Highly recommend and am already planning a return trip!

This cabin is beautiful, spacious with a cute loft upstairs and a living room and deck that has the best views. The lake is gorgeous and there are trumpeter swans! The view at sunrise, with a hot cup of coffee, is amazing. If you need a beautiful place to unplug, this is it!

Had a great time! If you were looking for a cabin, that is clean comfortable and a decent location on a beautiful lake to have a good upper Peninsula experience highly recommend papa’s place great place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Exceptionally well equipped and as described. Everything was so well spelled out I don’t recall making any inquiries. The lake was great with decent fishing. There is more road noise than I might have expected and the lack of WiFi made planning a challenge.

This little cabin was one of the loveliest properties we’ve rented from VRBO. The property itself is extremely clean and very comfortable, and well supplied with all the basic necessities (kitchen and bath essentials, bedding, etc). The location is peaceful and relaxing with its views of a lake. The listing description is accurate. The host responds to all communication quickly and professionally. It was the perfect “base camp” for us while we explored the eastern UP. We truly felt at home during our stay here.

It would be nice if the location had wifi available because the cell service is hit and miss. The cabin is very nicely done, and we chose it because we enjoyed our stay last year there. Note: It does not list that there is wifi available, so we were not surprised by this.

"Papa's Place" was just as described, a quiet, peaceful and comfortable cabin, a wonderful cabin for kicking back and relaxing or making day trips to so many nearby attractions. Communication was great and we had no issues at all. We would come back if the opportunity was there. Thanks Vanessa for a great time!

The whole property was lovely! So peaceful and relaxing. Had some giggles as we used hand soap for a shower since there was no shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom.
