À distance de marche de la plupart des principaux musĂ©es et monuments de Lisbonne, l'appartement est Ă  proximitĂ© des Ă©piceries et des supermarchĂ©s locaux ainsi que des restaurants, cafĂ©s, bars ainsi que des boutiques Ă©clectiques de toutes sortes.

L'appartement est situé dans un bùtiment du XVIIIe siÚcle niché dans une pente raide d'une des collines de Lisbonne, à 100 mÚtres d'altitude. Ainsi, alors que son entrée principale et privée est au rez-de-chaussée, vous pouvez profiter de la vue imprenable sur le fleuve depuis les balcons du deuxiÚme étage de l'autre cÎté de l'appartement, sans avoir à monter l'escalier.

L'immeuble est orienté plein sud, l'appartement est ensoleillé et lumineux toute la journée. Vous pouvez vous asseoir dans le salon et admirer la beauté de Lisbonne tout en surplombant les toits de tuiles rouges qui se dressent contre l'eau bleue du Tage.

Lovely, quiet, and spacious apartment in a wonderfully walkable location with easy access to transit. A little off the tourist trail, which we appreciated, while still being close to amenities and activities. The apartment came fully furnished with everything you need to settle in (we stayed for two weeks; cooked, cleaned, did laundry). Artistic and quirky, yet still comfortable with small children-- feels lived in. Our stay was in January, but the apartment was light and airy, and kept warm with radiators, as well as lots of blankets on the beds and couches, and other cozy touches. The host (Paulo) was incredibly warm and welcoming. He was easy to communicate with even in English and very responsive/responsible. He provided great guidance and recommendations too!

We stayed for 4 nights in this Alfama district of Lisbon. It is the oldest part of town and for us, has the most charming character. For those looking for a place for a family of four, we enjoyed the apartment and its proximity to many sites. Paulo was a kind host and met us at check-in. Communication is excellent both pre and post arrival- thank you Paulo!!The apartment has an amazing view and a kitchen outfitted with all necessities. We appreciated returning here after all the daily uphill walking that is Alfama!My teens loved that we didn’t have a ‘hotel’ experience in Lisbon, and this rental was great! I would recommend it.

A week in Lisbon

The apartment has the perfect location to discover Lisbon. We were picked up from the airport in the late evening. Thanks again Paulo! The apartment is huge and arranged in a very individual way: pictures and art figures as well as the nice furniture.Only the bathroom would need a renovation.The dishwasher was broken.Besides this we enjoyed our stay a lot!

Wonderful stay in Alfama

We had a great stay at this apartment in Alfama. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed, we would have drinks most nights looking out the window and enjoying the breeze. The location was perfect and Ana answered any questions we had very promptly. Nadina, the driver she arranged for us, was excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed our vacation

Thoughtful hosts and lovely place

This was a fantastic place! We really loved it, it was comfortable and a brilliant location. The toys they put together for our kids were so thoughtful and the communication throughout was helpful and informative. Only thing that would improve the apartment is air conditioning but there were lots of fans which meant it was cool enough!

Delightfully quaint

The property has a different layout, but they utilized the space so well. We were very comfortable. We loved the view of the Tagus out the windows. The apartment was clean as well as the bathroom -but the tub is not friendlynif you are prone to slipping-like me! I will say, our 6 year old locked us out of our apartment on accident and the reaponse from our hosts was immediate very laid back. There were plenty of grocery shops nearby and cafes and they have a binder in the apartment to assist you in finding shops and parks and restaurants! Be prepared to walk! The transportation around the apartment was extremely reliable and efficient, but we found we only used it for our day trips-we mainly walked everywhere! We loved it. We found we had more than we needed within the apartment for cooking and hanging out there on our lazy days. So thankful to have such a nice property to have called home!

Best place to stay with small children

Without a doubt, best place to stay with small children, ages 2 and 4. Fully equiped, felt like home with cooking essentials, high chair, potty, crib, extra beds, toys and childrens books galore. Small private second bedroom for children. Beautiful view of the river. Tons of light and open space. In the center of Alfama, close to great city views, restaurants, trams, fado. We loved our stay and will return!

Charming stay in Alfama

Ana and Pedro were lovely and helped us with so many things. First we needed to find a parking lot for our car and they have suggestions. They actually met us at the entrance the neighborhood to show us how to get to the apartment and then Pedro drove with us to lot to leave our car. Great service!! The place was perfect for our needs, except the renters upstairs were loud late into the night. This was no fault of Ana and Pedro. Just unfortunate. Pedro went and talked to the neighbors which helped to quiet things down. Top notch service.

Great apartment, location & service

The apartment is wonderful with little touches that matter when traveling with littles (toys, laundry detergent, excessive towels). The location is incredible with Fado outside your window. The garbage cans, which are directly outside the window, are emptied in the middle of the night (every night), which as many reviews suggest can be noisy.

Magical stay in Lisbon
