This charming 4 bedroom, 4 bathroom Kiawah Island vacation home is located in popular West Beach one block from the beach, nature/biking trails and the West Beach Tennis Center. This spacious home offers a large screened porch, gas grill and outdoor shower, fun ping pong table and a true home-away-from-home for your Kiawah Island vacation.

Offering 1,952 sq feet of living space that displays the owner’s original art and cottage chic style. This spacious home has an open layout and is large enough to accommodate a group of 9 with plenty of space for the family to spend time together. The kitchen, dining and living spaces are located downstairs with a screened porch just off the dining room with tranquil wooded views. Under the house at the garage level guests will find a ping pong table, gas grill and outdoor shower.

119 Surfscoter Lake comfortably sleeps 9 guests in 4 bedrooms. Three bedrooms downstairs and a great kids room upstairs. The master suite has a king size bed with a private bathroom. The remaining downstairs guest rooms offer a double and 2 twin beds, each with a private bathroom. A 4th bedroom is located upstairs and is perfect for the kids with 3 twin beds, a TV and private bathroom, the kids will love having their own space on vacation.

If you’re looking for home rentals on Kiawah Island for your next vacation, this West Beach family style vacation home will not disappoint. West Beach Village is located nearest to Kiawah Island’s main gate and is situated around the Cougar Point Golf Course and Clubhouse. West Beach is Kiawah’s oldest neighborhood with meandering boardwalks, mature maritime forests and a charming, Lowcountry island vibe.

You’re an easy walk to the beach, a bike ride away from Freshfields Village, The Sanctuary Hotel, Night Heron Park and Kiawah Island’s world-class golf courses and tennis, and a short 40-minute drive to historic downtown Charleston.

Pool Access: Please note this property has NO resort pool access.

Beach Access: Beach access via Boardwalk 10. One block from the beach, a short 4 minute walk.

Pet Policy: No pets are permitted at this property.

Parking: There is parking for up to 4 cars.

Check-in instructions will be sent via email at least 10 days prior to check-in once the Rental Agreement is signed. If your stay is within 9 days, or lesser, from the time of booking, the instructions will be sent via email as soon as the Rental Agreement is signed.

Good location, fair beds

We all loved the property and the location; however, the beds definitely need to be updated. We left a day early primarily because of the uncomfortable king bed. It is entirely too hard. Everything else about the house was as expected and we enjoyed the surroundings. This was our first trip to Kiawah.

Brian from Kiawah Exclusives called a few hours before check-in to let me know one of the bedrooms in our rental had an air conditioner problem which will be fixed the next day. He gave us a couple of options. We can check into our rental and assess if the situation was bearable for one night and will give us a credit for the inconvenience. The other option was to move into another available rental. We requested to see the other one before making our decision. We decided to move into the other rental which was beautiful and had more room for our family of 9 and had a private pool. The original rental was just as beautiful but it was too hot and uncomfortable in that bedroom to bear even if it was only for one night. It was located in the topmost part of the house. Brian was apologetic and very accommodating to ensure our vacation will be wonderful which it was. We appreciated his awesome customer service. Our home away from home was clean, comfortable and beautiful. Both rentals were in the same complex walking distance to the beach and close to a great mall, Freshfields Village which has a grocery store, restaurants and boutiques. It was where we enjoyed our takeout pizza from Harris Teeter grocery store in the plaza Friday night with live music. It was a perfect way to start our vacation.
