Charmant, paisible 1 chambre Mill Valley Cottage

Ce chalet semi-attaché fraîchement rénové dispose d'un magnifique jardin dans la section de fraises souhaitable de Mill Valley. La propriété entièrement meublée et équipée borde un espace ouvert - les cerfs sont aperçus presque tous les jours! C'est calme et paisible mais à seulement 6 minutes du Golden Gate Bridge et de San Francisco!

Parking facile et accès rapide à la côte, au mont Tamalpais, à Muir Woods, à la plage de Stinson et à la région viticole plus au nord. L'arrêt de bus et le centre commercial sont à 5 minutes à pied.

Idéal pour jusqu'à deux vacanciers de la région de la baie, des amis visitant la région ou des chasseurs de maisons. Nous avons également beaucoup de grands-parents «débutants»! Pas de soucis, ce chalet est haut de gamme, pas «funky». Pas d'escaliers, de marches ou de routes de montagne étroites à affronter!

Great location, lovely hosts

Perfect location in the Strawberry area of Mill Valley -- great jumping-off point for some of the most beautiful parts of the Bay Area. Easy parking (not the case in a lot of places!) Lovely hosts.

Fabulous in Every Way

I loved my time here. The house is in a quiet neighborhood, the host was responsive and nice to deal with, and the home was fully equipped. I would stay here again and recommend it without hesitation.

Lovely Friendly Getaway

The property is lovely, with quiet lush gardens and cozy house. Our hosts were unobtrusive but friendly. The location is ideal, right off the 101 to Sonoma, Sausalito, and ferries to San Francisco. We will come again!

Tiburon Visit

My wife and I found a home away from home for our visits with our son, his wife, and our two grandsons. The property is conveniently located for access to 101 and all the area sites. The cottage is well furnished, comfortable, and accesses a beautiful garden. Chuck and Eileen are wonderful hosts!

We couldn't have found a more perfect home base for the recent visit - a very comfortable stay with an arty vibe and a wonderful terraced backyard Chuck showed us in and around, and shared his interesting backstory - we found that we share Rockport MA, of all things, in our past With our new grandbaby only a mile away, we could very well stay here again!

peace and comfort

We visited with family in Corte Madera for Thanksgiving and this was the perfect spot for my husband and I to come home to each evening. Very comfortable and quiet. The owner could not have been more gracious and welcoming. Another wonderful VRBO experience for us.

Peaceful space in Mill Valley

This was our first stop in California - moving from the East coast. Chuck and Eileen were hospitable and helpful in so many ways. Their home and garden space the result of decades of careful attention. Beautiful and relaxing space. Allowed the move into SF to be stress free and each night returning to little strawberry was a gift of peace and beauty. Would stay again :)

Couldn't be nicer for us

This Mill Valley cottage was a delightful place to stay in a quiet, lovely neighbourhood.. Quick access to Hwy 101 and to a paved walking/cycling trail to Sausalito and our daughter and family. Very roomy, nicely equipped and furnished, beautiful outdoor sitting area. . Great selection of good books and local info. Very welcoming and sccomodating hosts. We'll be back...

Absolutely Perfect!!

We enjoyed a perfect stay! The Mill Valley Cottage was so charming, very clean, well equipped, and private. We so enjoyed Chuck's original artwork which adorned the walls...thanks for sharing your talent with us! The location couldn't be better, we were minutes to the grocery, restaurants, etc. And there is plenty of street parking, and in a walkable neighborhood. Perfectly situated, between San Fran, Muir Woods, and Napa! Loved taking the ferry from Tiburon to SF one day! Thanks Chuck and Eileen for an amazing place to rest after each days adventure. Your cottage was exactly what we needed, can't wait to return!

Peaceful garden close to city

This is a great property with very friendly, responsive, helpful owners! Cozy, quiet, fully equipped and overlooking a beautiful owner-tended garden with a bubbling fountain. This cottage is fantastic! The cottage is charming, with a cool living room, a well-stocked kitchen, and a very comfortable separate bedroom. The patio area is very nice -- a perfect place for a morning coffee. It's a nice short walk to the shoreline and easy access to SF, Mill Valley, and central Marin. Mill Valley Cottage Getaway

This is my second visit and I enjoyed it as much as the first. The cottage is equipped with everything, the location is extremely convenient, and this area of Southern Marin is particularly scenic. The hosts, Chuck and Eileen, are very helpful and friendly, and I love gazing at the paintings in the unit (many of which were painted by Chuck).. I hope to return for another stay!

A Delightful Place to Stay

The cottage is as described—-charming and peaceful.. as are the hosts. We spent two weeks here and have only positive things to say. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet and the hosts have thought of providing every amenity. In addition, they have a beautiful garden where you can sit and enjoy an afternoon of whatever you desire. The bed is really comfortable and —-there are no steps to the front door. For Mill Valley the latter is really a plus. We will definitely be returning. .

Mill Valley Delight

Chuck and Eileen Ballinger are the owners who live in the semi-attached main house (garage in-between). Eileen is a real estate broker fluent in French. Chuck is an author/ artist/ general contractor/ traveler.

It's proximity to San Francisco is very convenient while its setting in Marin adjoins rural open space. Marin County is our favorite place in the world - and we've been almost everywhere!

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The cottage looks out on a beautiful European-style garden with terraces and a large fountain (see photo). Strawberry Center is a five minute walk with many restaurants and shops. The cottage is almost three times the size of a hotel room with a fully equipped kitchen. And it's been totally remodeled in 2009!
