This charming private cottage in the hills of San Pablo is a great choice for guests looking for a cozy retreat. With essential amenities of Wifi, Roku TV, comfy expandable bed with storage and linens, this lovely cottage offers a quiet place to relax. Sit on the garden bench and watch the sunset over Mount Tamalpais or open the French doors to view the garden.

The cottage kitchenette offers a microwave oven, IKEA induction cook plate with cookware, air fryer, electric kettle, toaster, and French press coffee maker. For your comfort: complimentary coffee, tea, and basic pantry items, along with iPhone chargers, hair dryer, bathrobes, bidet, iron, ironing board, heater, and umbrella. For your safety are included carbon monoxide detector/smoke alarms, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit.

Due to high utility costs, additional appliances require prior approval.

Tucked into the back of the property, you’ll have lighted side gate access and your own parking space in a safe, quiet neighborhood.

Conveniently located near Wildcat Canyon – great hiking! - with an amazing view of the Bay, easy on/off from the freeway, and close to local shops: Raley’s, Natural Grocery Store, Grocery Outlet, Safeway, and Costco.

The cottage is 12 miles to UC Berkeley, 25 miles to Oakland Airport, 33 miles to the San Francisco airport, 21 miles to downtown San Francisco.

Georgina was a wonderful host! She welcomed me personally and surprised me with fresh fruits, granola, popcorn, bottled water, and more. :) She was warm and friendly without being intrusive. The cottage was beautiful and clean, nestled in a lovely garden, and had everything I needed to be comfortable. Charlotte was such a sweet dog, and I enjoyed having her come say "hello". My stay was lovely and would love to stay here again when I'm in the area. :)

Cottage is small, just one room, but we had everything we needed. Georgina is friendly and available but not intrusive. Stayed a couple of nights. It was restful and private.

Very cozy little cottage in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Georgina is a wonderful host and was super prompt, respectful, and friendly in her communication, making the whole process from booking our stay, to checking in and out extremely easy and hassle-free. The cottage is clean, very well-equipped, and tastefully decorated. The garden is beautiful and made our mornings feel magical. We were there for only a couple days, but Georgina took the time to check in with us over messages as well as stop by to meet us in person, even though we returned rather late from our day out in the town. The neighbors were very friendly as well, the neighborhood itself felt very safe even late at night, and we had a lovely view of the city from the driveway. Cannot recommend staying here enough. We look forward to visiting again!

The owner was very accommodating. She made sure we had everything we needed and even went out of her way to get us new pillows to match the ones we are used to at home. The place was comfortable, but small with only a small sink in the kitchenette and none in the bathroom. The off street parking was a plus.

Lovable Environment

The garden was truly beautiful and well tended to, you can just tell it’s cared for with love. On top of the garden, her dog charlotte was truly lovely. Such a friendly lady dog. I believe that if you love her garden and dog you’ll also like Georgina, she is just a wonderful woman. Her soul reminds me of a flower. I honestly would come here again if I just needed to get away from everything because it really is a calming environment!

Charlotte! The dog doesn’t just waltz in, I let her in a couple of times because I’m a huge dog lover!

Such a lovely little cottage tucked away in the most beautiful and well tended garden. The host is very friendly, welcoming, and has excellent taste! We were very comfortable, she went out of her way to make us feel at home with sweet little touches like organic half and half for the French press coffee and a perfectly ripe avocado. Charlotte the dog was a welcome bonus.

My husband and I just finished a three week West Coast trip and this property was by far our favorite. Not only is the view from the cottage/house amazing, but the attention to detail was beyond compare. You can tell by everything that is provided that the owner is well traveled and wants you as a guest to feel comfortable. Highly recommend!

My partner and I loved this little cottage for our roadtrip to the Bay! Georgina’s space was so nice and clean, she had the sweetest animals, and a beautiful view of the SF skyline from her driveway! It was perfect for what we needed. We’ll definitely be back.

The most wonderful stay.

My stay at Georgina's cottage was incredibly comfortable, beautiful and peaceful! The experience was possibly the best I've had while renting a temporary vacation home. It's a small space but very cozy and has all the essentials. Georgina is also the kindest host, easy to communicate with, and made me feel very well cared for during my stay. Five stars, wish I could give more!

peace and quiet

Plenty of relaxation, amenities and the area is nice and quiet. My stay was stress free and I felt very welcomed. The host is friendly as I could always reach her. Also, nearby restaurants and grocery store made it very convenient.
